Beautiful maintenance free deck with lounge chairs and an umbrella, plus a dock to hook your water toys up to! There are a few kayaks to use, a canoe, along with one kid size paddle board and one adult paddle board, and various beach toys and a kids playhouse (see beach photo). Enjoy winter activities as well! Snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobiling, only 1/2 mile off hwy 169 and 1/2 of a block to the snowmobile trials! Seven miles to ERX track! Close to town and the Twin Cities yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. Located ten minutes away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge where there’s nature walks and bird watching! And only an hour away from the grand Mille Lacs Lake! Whether you’re looking for low-down family beach time or hosting a get together/smaller party or wedding, this home has it all! Great flow from the kitchen-dining-deck-to beach, hosting birthday party’s and get together s is smooth with plenty of parking and gorgeous sunsets to boot! Summary: We have stayed at this property for the last three years with friends. We all have kids under age 8. The toy room is fun, separate areas for our two families, a nice beach and swimming area. Definitely some nice places to hang out inside and outside, great kitchen. And, most of all, we’ve made great memories together. Jackie is a great host and really takes great care of the property,

Summary: Spent 5 days at this cabin with some extended family/cousins. The kids had an amazing time - the playroom in the basement and the shed full of so many toys, life jackets, and all sorts or kayaks/paddleboards, lounge chairs, etc. CANNOT be beat. The individual air conditioners between bedrooms allowed for individualized comfort that my husband adored. Be aware there is no Wi-Fi, which was surprising, and I would say was my only negative. Most of the time it didn't matter however when you have an entire day of poor weather the lack of Wi-Fi was more noticeable. Will definitely be back, loved our experience.

Summary: What a beautiful house on a beautiful lake I came here with my Girls Group for a weekend getaway and everything was great. We use the barbecue girl the first night that was fine and also we use the fire pit every night and it was so relaxing out there by the water, we also spent part of the day out on the water on paddle boards and Floaties and it was very relaxing. The host was very good at explaining everything we needed to know about the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had my husband and I and 4 kids ages 15-30. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Nice beach with plenty of water toys. The owner is wonderful.. she checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed.

Summary: Our stay at Jackie’s house was nothing short of amazing! We loved the small beach and clean water to swim in (all thanks to the aqua thruster and her care for her property). She was so easy to work with and communicate with throughout the stay. She checked in on us after night one which was extremely thoughtful. The toy room she has for littles was loved by our little boy who made it is room for the duration of the stay - it was so nice he had an area to play in without us having to drag a bunch of toys with us. Even though the property doesn’t have central A/C she has room A/C’s which were more than enough and even the basement stayed plenty cool. Overall she was a great host and we loved staying at her place - would definitely come back!

Summary: We stayed here during the spring because it was close to family. It was a perfect place to stay with 4 young kids, even though it was off season for the lake. The kids slept in the basement bedroom and loved having the smart tv in there. The toy room was super fun, especially ages 8 and under. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. This is a place the owner said they also use, and you can tell it’s set up nicely and well-loved. The handmade staircase and cute painted basement floor was so fun! The beach looked really nice - will consider checking it out in the summer. FYI this is not a secluded lake cabin. It’s basically a neighborhood house with lake access, nice, but not private. It was a great location, 5 minutes ti Elk River and 40 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.

Summary: The house was very cozy for our winter stay, it was beautifully decorated. The toy room was a big hit and was great for keeping the kids occupied. They had a lot of accommodations like a pack and play available, a baby gate etc. The host was easy to communicate with, and was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything at all. I’m sure it’d be great fun in the summer too. Overall a great stay!

Summary: This house was so stunning and so perfect for our family! Firstly the property manager is very communicative and made sure we knew everything and had everything we needed. The shed is FILLED with canoes, life jackets, floaties, and a splash mat. The beach is sand and the kids just loved it. The porch is lovely and gives a great view of those Minnesota skies at night and a lovely sunset view. Two main bedrooms are upstairs and the double rm with the TV is downstairs as is the playroom. Love love loved it.

Summary: This place had everything we needed for our family vacation. We loved that there were great a/c units in the rooms and plenty of toys for our son to play with. The sandy beach was perfect for our son to make sand castles on. Jackie was a great host that checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were close to stores and some restaurants, which was convenient! The only suggestion we would make is it would be nice to have a tv upstairs to watch movies on, but there was a great tv downstairs in the living room/bedroom area with lots of movies, cable, and Netflix. Would definitely stay again!!!
