Summary: Very clean, an older cottage with many updates, nice kitchen and family room. The exterior was very spacious

Summary: Beautiful house right on the lake. We were looking for a place that wasn’t too far from a larger town but that still had a quiet setting. This house met that goal. There’s a nice beach across the lake from the house. The views from the house as we enjoyed a fire were great. There’s a grocery store and a restaurant we really enjoyed called the Knight Owl in Norway, about a five minute drive from the house. There’s also a bar within walking distance of the house that we didn’t try. The kitchen had all the cookware and utensils you would need to eat at home. Iron Mountain is about 15 minutes away from the house. We also enjoyed the Lake Fumee natural area that had hiking trails and was close to the house as well. It was a perfect place for a few days away.
