Come to the Texas Hill Country and treat yourself and your family (and pre-approved free pets) to a wonderful time on this constant-level lake! You'll feel right at home in this lovely 2000 sq/ft lake house complete with dock and nice swimming area on an expansive, quiet cove!
This lake house is located on Chevy Cove on Lake LBJ, east of Kingsland, TX on Hwy 1431. Our home's open floor plan is great for reunions, church retreats, weddings, and receptions. Golf courses (Packsaddle Country Club is 10 minutes away, The Legends Country Club is 5 minutes, Hidden Falls Country Club is 15 minutes, Delaware Springs Country Club is 20 minutes, Horseshoe Bay Resort (3 courses) is 25 minutes), tennis, shopping, and lots of sights to see are all within easy access. Marble Falls is 10 minutes away, Llano is 25 minutes away. This lake house is about an hour from Austin's Bergstrom airport, or 80 minutes from San Antonio's International airport, and 25 minutes from Horseshoe Bay Resort. This lake house is located on Chevy cove, a large cove that flows into the main lake, about one mile below the confluence of the Llano and Colorado Rivers.
With about 2200 square feet of living space, including 4 king beds (1 in master suite and 3 in bunk room) and 3 bathrooms to accommodate between 8 and 16 guests, this vacation home is perfect for one to three families. You can sleep up to 8 people in beds. There's room for more using cots or air mattresses.
This quaintly decorated home comes with a large living/ dining area overlooking the water, and a master suite w/bath that provides a view of the lake through three large picture windows. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric range, oven, microwave, large refrigerator, and a dishwasher and disposal. There is one TV with Basic package DISH TV with local Austin channels.
Fishing is good in the cove. You can rent boats, kayaks, and jet skis locally and tie them up at the dock. A small boat ramp is located just down the street, so its easy to get your own boat in and out of the water! The larger public ramp is 5 minutes away at the Community Park in Kingsland.
The property, and especially the back patio, are nicely shaded with large oaks, pecan, cottonwood, and pine trees. You will enjoy a panoramic view of Lookout Mountain and beautiful Chevy cove, which attracts fishermen from all over. There's lots of comfortable furniture on the patio so you can prop up your feet, read, or just soak up the beauty and the wildlife.
Amenities: We've tried to make the house as complete as you'll need so you can have fun and not have to run to the store all the time. The house has a washer/dryer, bath towels, pillows and linens, a microwave, stove top, electric oven, toaster oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, disposal, utensils/dishes/glasses for 10, pots/pans,. One TV (Dish) in living room and a gas grill with the necessary utensils (bring your own apron and chef's hat please). During and after your stay please let us know if something is missing that would make your next visit more enjoyable.

Summary: The home reminded us of our Grandparents home. Well furnished. I bought coffee filters because the last two rentals we stayed in did not provide them. We were pleasantly surprised that the kitchen had dishes, cooking utensils, spices. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well furnished. We grilled burgers and hotdogs outside.We baked our cup cakes and prepared all other meals in the oven and stove like we did when we were young. We played card games, domimos. We took 2 of our boats and kept them at the fishing dock. We all loved boat rides, fishing, sight seeing. We took guitars. Sang country and gospel songs with family. Best lake trip we have ever had.

Summary: It’s not your typical bnb it’s more. With the hustle of life it’s sometimes hard to just sit and enjoy the scenery- this place gives you the good old days impression. Simple conveniences with the nostalgic feeling of visiting grandma’s house. It’s exactly what I didn't know I needed. The cove area is a quiet neighborhood, plenty of wildlife to view. The trees are a beautiful to sit under. With lake life comes insects yet it was not a problem. This place deserves those who enjoy the quiet life and solid. If you stay be kind to it as it has hosted generations of good memories and still has more to give. I actually loved being here. Bill & Patty are the kind of people you wished there were more of. Planning to come visit again for sure.

Summary: Super cute, comfy lakehouse with plenty of room for the 5 of us to relax and enjoy our long weekend. We loved the large windows with great views of the water from the living room and master bedroom. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed floating in the water off the dock and watching all the wildlife in the shaded backyard. It was quick, easy access to run into town and spent a few hours at the slab close by. We had a great time!

Summary: The property was amazing, so many great things to do around town and a nice quiet home to go back to. Absolutely beautiful view of the lake, and the lake house was so beautifully decorated. Don’t even get me started on the beds, they were so comfy! The property managers were very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Can’t wait for next time!
