This is indeed a special place! The paved driveway leads you to spacious parking for 4 (or more) cars. A few steps away is our beautiful 3 bedroom home with 2600 square feet of living space.
The main level and the lower level each have a spacious deck for you to entertain and enjoy the amazing views of Lake Michigan.
Then 60 steps down later (from the lower deck) there is another deck that overlooks your own 90' of private beach!
*Summer of 2020 update: Because of the record high waters, our beach area has been changing week to week. Currently we have very little beach area, but the lower deck provides an area to enjoy the lake.

We are committed to making your vacation stay be the best it can be. We limit the rental to one family (8 people maximum). Please, no pets and no smoking.
We prefer to rent for an entire week (Saturday to Saturday). We will consider shorter stays (3 night min.) during off-peak times (May, Early June, September and October.) Contact the owners to discuss rates.
You will need to bring your own sheets (total = 3 queen and 2 twin beds.) and kitchen/bath towels.

Summary: Wonderful Lake Michigan beach week! This was our second year staying for a week at this property. It was just as we remembered it, clean, well-equipped with great beach access. The location is great, near Pentwater, Ludington as well as close to Silver lake attractions. The property owner was very quick and responsive to any communications. Thanks for sharing your wonderful property with our family. We hope to come back again sometime!

Summary: The house was perfect for our family vacation including for our toddler. The steps are pretty steep but the climb down is worth it. The private beach feels like you’re on the ocean and you’re super close to town for food and adventures! I highly recommend this property!

Summary: Perfect combination of being right on beautiful Lake Michigan and having a huge front yard for kiddo playing. Home has everything needed, sharp knives, pots and pans, coffee maker, Keurig, and on and on with quality kitchen / dining needs. Kitchen, dining and living room all face Lake Michigan. The beach is wide and clean with an 1800’s boat wreck under water off shore. Beds are comfortable with large bedrooms. 3 Bathrooms keep everyone happy. Close to Pentwater and Silver Lake attractions and restaurants. I’ve often thought this place would make a great Fall getaway. We loved it! Our 5th year.

Summary: Our stay at Dan and Jan's beach house was wonderful! The house was extremely neat and clean upon arrival. So many small touches to make our stay comfortable. Loved the puzzles and chess/checkers set. Drawer of kids dishes, cups and utensils were very helpful. The kids basically lived in the waves all week, amazing to have a private beach. Great views of the lake and sunsets from the large porch. A great location near Hart, Mears, Silver Lake and Pentwater. Thanks for a great week!

Summary: This was absolutely perfect! A beautiful property! Amazing lake views and access. The hosts are great to work with. Easy access to activities, groceries, etc. The home is spacious and well- equipped. The deck is outstanding. We had such a great time!

Summary: This is our fourth year at the lake house. We are just home a week and missing it already. What makes it so wonderful? The cottage is situated with a full view of Lake Michigan from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The deck brings you even closer to beautiful sunsets. I do not know how the owners manage to keep it consistently kept up and clean each year. The cottage comes with everything you might need, including a coffee grinder! Pots, pans, knives, coffee maker, dishwasher and kitchen ware are all in excellent shape and condition. You can’t get much closer to Lake Michigan then this beautiful place. This year and last were the added attractions of a shipwreck from the 1800s right near the beach. Our grandchildren were fascinated, as were we. The front lawn is great for young kids to run off whatever excess energy they have at the end of the day. There is a fire pit near the front lawn as well as one down by the beach. The beds are all very comfortable and we love hearing the surf in the evening. This cottage is updated with new improvements yearly. It would be hard to find a better place on Lake Michigan!
