Summary: Though the weather didn't offer us many chances to enjoy swimming and as much time on the deck as we would have liked, the cabin was cute, clean and functional. Remodeling the basement area with the laundry and bathroom would make this cabin really awesome. It would have been great if there was a boat lift. Also, the lake in front of the cabin is really shallow, which is nothing the ownder can do anything about but it does make a difference for persons who want to fish. For our first vacation in the Alexandria area, this VRBO was a great find!

Summary: Beautiful location to enjoy a Minnesota summer. Great beach, dock, deck, fire pit to enjoy the outdoors! The house easily accommodated 6 adults and 4 children - Lake Miltona is fantastic!

Summary: This was a great place to stay! We were working in the area and this home was a relaxing and quiet retreat after a hard day of work. The home was very clean and well stocked. Overall it’s a great place to stay.

Summary: Our stay started off with a few thing not working ( boat lift, bed broke, washer not working properly) and some things not clean ( coffee stains under the coffee pot on the counter, sand on the deck in front of doors). I contacted the property owners and they were very quick to take care of the problems. Very nice people and a nice place to stay.

Summary: The house is absolutely lovely. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, cooking utensils. The back deck overlooking the lake is fantastic. We had a fabulous time! Possible minor improvements would be adding a screen to the sliding doors, floor lamps in the living room to cut down on harsh overhead lighting, more seating in the living room- this room is especially gorgeous with its view of the lake and some addition seating options would be great.

Summary: This is a very nice home. It was very clean and plenty of room for our family. Beautiful morning views of the sunrise over frozen lake. (one suggestion: a few blinds would be nice - morning sun a bit blinding at kitchen table.) The kitchen had plenty of dishes and silverware, etc. Greatly appreciated.. We stayed during the winter - it snowed a couple of times while there (a couple of inches) and since many of the houses nearby were unoccupied, the snowplow did not come through. the driveway was shoveled for us, but just a bit slippery since on a slope. All-in-all --- we had a wonderful time and the house is very nice and we wouldn't mind returning for another visit. Maybe next time we can make it in the summer and can enjoy the lake in warm weather (not 10 below!) Thank you for the use of your house and your hospitality..

Summary: Our family had a wonderful time in this lovely home. The house is not real big, but we had plenty of room for all of us to gather. The house was very clean and inviting. The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware and etc. for us to use and plenty of beds. The kids enjoyed playing games in the spacious loft. The morning sunrise was beautiful overlooking the frozen lake. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't mind staying again - maybe next time in the summer when we can enjoy the lake more.
