Enjoy 100 feet of Lake Minnewashta! South facing, sandy, clean lakeshore. Great lake for swimming, fishing, boating, and wonderful views of the state park across the lake. Quiet neighborhood. 2/3 acre lot.
5 bedroom/4 bathroom (3 bedrooms available to use) 3300 sq. ft. completely updated rambler style home - all updated in 2015.
3 bedrooms available for use - 4 beds available (two king size, and a double. An extra double bed is available on comfortable pull out couch in living room).
Marble tile, heated floor, and jacuzzi tub and separate shower, in master bathroom. Marble floors also in 2 of the three other bathrooms, wood floors throughout main floor. Carpet on lower walkout level. Vibrant, soothing colors throughout home. 3 bedrooms on main floor.
Great views from all bedrooms, as well as living areas.
Summer: Paddleboard, Lily pad, canoe, soccer goals, and volleyball set available for your use. Dock to enjoy sitting on.
Winter: sledding, skating, and cross-country skiing on the lake!
Spacious open kitchen opens up into dining/living area, which leads out to the expansive deck with seating, lounge chairs, and gas grill.
5 minutes to downtown Excelsior (great pubs, restaurants, and shops). 30 minutes to airport. 25 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.

school year - $5300 per month, includes all utilities, internet, yard mowing. Minimum 2 month rental, or negotiable.

Summary: My husband and I and our two kids (12 & 16) enjoyed this wonderful property for 6 heavenly and hot August days. Katrina and Ross were fantastic, friendly and Super responsive (!) consistently through the booking process through as the entire stay. I don’t think I ever waited more than 10 minutes for a response! They worked with our request to extend our stay a day and were flexible in general. The home was just perfect for our group, with a nice open kitchen & dining area, every thoughtful convenience available ... Katrina & Ross even left fixings for s’mores. Lots of conscientious & kind touches throughout. The enormous, lush yard great for playing football, soccer etc. led to 100 plus feet of beautiful sandy beach ... we enjoyed jet skiing - tubing - and relaxing the whole stay. Highly recommend this lovely property, also convenient to Wayzata and super close to Excelsior - and Katrina & Ross were the consummate hosts. Thank you for the wonderful memories ❤️

Summary: My husband and I rented this beautiful home for a week. Our two adult children and their families, who live in the area, joined us every day. We had 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 1-year to 5-years who thoroughly enjoyed the sandy beach and the gently sloping lake access. The lake was very clean with a sandy, firm bottom. There were a few weeds that washed up on the beach, but there is a rake to move them off to the side - not a big deal. The large yard provided lots of space for them to run around and there were lots of fun yard games in a shed on the property. We all enjoyed the paddle boards, canoe, and the Lilly Pad and the Solstice Inflatable Floating Dock. About the only downside was that there is no pier, so we were not able to rent a boat for the week. The house itself was perfect for families, lots of toys, games, and "stuff" downstairs on the shelves for the kids to explore, with a ping pong table, comfy sofa, and TV. Upstairs there was a large open gathering area with a well-equipped kitchen. I cooked up a storm! Kids were able to nap in the two bedrooms and the master bedroom was large with a walk-in closet and a beautifully appointed master bath. My husband and I had some lovely evenings sitting on the deck and looking at the lake after everyone had gone home. This was our first time together in 6 months and it was a perfect spot to be together!

Summary: Overall we had a nice experience at the home. Katrina was very responsive and helpful leading up to our reservation. We really had no major issues during our stay and did not communicate. The home appears to have been remodeled within the last 10 years and was in very good condition. It had three bedrooms, one master and two kids bedrooms. I say kids, because the beds, decorations and furnishings were geared toward younger kids. The beds would be tight for a couple and the room decor might be a turnoff. The master however, was very nice with a king size bed a nice decor. The beach was nice, although there were quite a few weeds washed up on the beach. We met the neighbor when he was out raking his. The beachfront would be good for kids, with a very gradual lake depth. The canoe and paddleboards were fun to use, but kind of wished it had a dock. My kids would have enjoyed fishing off of. Harder to fish from a canoe or paddleboard. We did enjoy ourselves and I think a family with young kids would enjoy even more.
