Nestled on beautiful Lake Ontario stands this beautiful year round cottage designed in and out to give you a luxurious lake vacation! Come inside and sit by the fire and enjoy the stunning views with waterfront deck complete with a New 8 person hot tub that is available year round, gas grill, smokeless fire pit, outdoor dining area with automatic awning & lounging area. We guarantee you will not want to leave! Only a 5.5 hour drive from NYC
The house comfortably sleeps 4 adults equipped with: 2 king beds and 1 queen. 4 adult max occupancy or 6 max occupancy of families with children. We can discuss additional occupants on a case by case basis. Extra guest fees will apply

Very quiet with very little traffic in this quaint lakeside community in the Thousand Islands region.
Driveway parking for 3 small vehicles
2 vehicles can be parked in front of the house on the side of road.
The lake front is shallow and rocky so lake shoes are essential. This isn’t ideal for swimming but is ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding and using a float, all are provided for your use. Please be aware there are rings cameras at each entrance (They don’t record and don’t have sound on the live feed) and the one in the back is facing the water only (doesn’t record or have sound). I have it there because I am alerted if there are waves that come close to the house. This is a lake front house and with that comes lake flies, spiders and bees at times. Even though the property is sprayed regularly, these pests are around sometimes because it is on the water.
Refunds are not given for weather unless there are mandatory evacuations.
Our listing is not covered for damages by platform so you will have a pre authorization security deposit hold . You will not be charged unless there is damage.
$100 extra pet fee will be added on for extreme shedding dogs. The fee goes to the cleaners for the extra work needed after a dog stays. Please pick up all dog waste from yard. Please use provided waterproof dog blankets if they will be on couch or beds.

No unregistered guests. Only the specified guests noted in the booking are allowed on the premises unless permission has been granted. No overnight guests.

Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am.
Let us know right away if you break or damage something so that we can make arrangements for its replacement. There will be a charge for any missing or damaged items. We do have ring cameras at each entrance but they don’t record or have sound. We also have one in the back facing the water which doesn’t record and there is no sound. We have this to monitor the water so it doesn’t flood the house.
We highly recommend trip insurance as we have a strict cancellation policy. This is recommended incase of emergency/sickness and you have to cancel

Summary: The neighborhood is extremely sketchy and one of the hosts stopped by and told us that the family across the street is “crazy” and regularly approaches and harasses the guests. The yard is super small, pretty much nonexistent. There is a lingering smell throughout the property, really noticeable in one of the bedrooms. Gas grill was filthy upon arrival, one of the hosts finally showed up to clean out so that it could be used. We lost power from 4pm to 4 am during our week, the owner did credit us 600$ for the outage, which is appreciated but we won’t be renting this property again.

Summary: Wow, wow and wow. We just spent a few days in this amazing home. It is everything that is advertised and way, way more. The attention to details in every corner is second to none. As soon as we got through the door, we felt welcomed and at home. Fresh cut flowers in the dining room table and chocolate over the pillows. Amazingly clean throughout. Soft robes in every bedroom. High end cleaning supplies in the bathroom and high end cutleries in the kitchen. It had everything we needed and more. Record player, with a nice collection of vinyl, complete bar, kayaks (including anchors) stand up boards, smokeless firepit, hot tub, board games, phone charges literally all over the place, smart TVs in every room (which by the way we we never turned on as the outside deck was so relaxing and inviting), and the list just goes on and on. The coffee machine and "coffee bay" would deserve a separate review (superb). Beware, if you enjoy a morning or afternoon latte or expresso. We have rented all over the place and this home should be in a different class all together. The hosts should create a master class and teach others some of their magic. Thank you very much for a perfect long weekend by the lake.

Summary: We travel a lot. I've rented dozens of places through VRBO (and HomeAway before that) all over the country and our stay at The Cottage at Ray's Bay was hands down the best rental experience we've had. The house is amazing. It is 100% as advertised - serene location, amazing views, privacy, all of the amenities you could ask for and a slew of finer touches that take the experience to the next level. Our favorite WOW factors were the gourmet coffee station, insanely thoughtful welcome package complete with solar eclipse cupcakes and local beers, and record player with some classic records. The location is perfect. You are right on Lake Ontario and have your own private access, They provide two kayaks and paddleboards. The hot tub overlooking the lake is a great experience. The smokeless firepit came in handy all weekend long. The location is so peaceful. The house is super clean and has everything you need. The coffee station is clutch - just be careful because you'll find yourself tempted to over-caffeinate like we did! The bathroom is ridiculous - heated toilet seat, premium bidet, amazing shower and high end toiletries. All 3 beds are high quality. All TVs are smart TVs with access to feee entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked and the cookware is top notch. Finally, the owners were just absolutely the best. They communicated the whole time and went out of their way to make us feel welcome like we were guest in their home. We will definitely rent again!

Summary: It was a blast having 3 siblings and their spouses for an annual getaway. The amenities were over the top with so much thought given to every detail. Beautiful place and views!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The pictures and description really do not do this place justice. The house was spotless and full of amenities. The host really thought of everything - from a well-stocked kitchen to extra chargers, to white noise machines in the bedrooms. The location was perfect for both enjoying the lake and exploring the area (highly recommend checking out Southwick, Wehle State Park, Sackets Harbor, Cape Vincent, and Clayton). We can't wait to return next summer!

Summary: My family and I enjoyed this home immensely not only did they have everything you need but it all smelled great too! From the linens to shower soap, and lotion they thought of everything. Even had a nice candle lit when we walked in and a chilled bottle of Prosecco, all nice touches! The updates to the property are gorgeous, including water toys & jacuzzi- our only negative comment is regarding the sand flies which were out of control after dark and we unfortunately were unable to use the smokeless bonfire pit for s’mores because of it. If that icky issue from mother nature could be sorted out this home would be a total 10/10!
