Summary: when we arrived it was late, but was easy to find with the giant fishing lure mail box, parking was not marked well as you drove in but accommodating for 2 cars, house was perfect size for our needs, shower head was a little low for my size but worked with plenty of hot water. in the morning sun glimmered off lake as humming birds were looking for their morning sip out of feeder, and fish feeding on the top of the water and cranes standing ever so patiently for their next meal. Great morning to wake up to with a hot cup of coffee. I would come there again. However would like it if it did have a TV for those rainy days, I brought my own, and it was no problem when it rained. Thanks!

Summary: The house was spectacular the setting on the water with the big open windows was so peaceful my husband is in love with the boathouse and the fishing we enjoyed our vacation more than any other vacation because we did a lot of resting and fishing we antiques in the local areas I went to some great little boutiques having our boat on lake Palestine was fantastic again my husband was in love with the Boathouse we did a lot of fishing in the morning there we will be back to stay again in the future thank you Peter for your kindness and giving us the heads up on everything

Summary: My family stayed for almost a week at this property and had a great time. The home fulfilled all of our needs and the lake (and the area) was a lot of fun. The fish were definitely biting. We would definitely consider coming back.
