Summary: The place was very nice for relaxing. The boat launch is very shallow so must be careful getting in and out with boat. We had everything we needed and more for our stay. Nice place to kayak and canoe. We wanted to stay a little longer and they were very open to that. We got to spend another day on the water. Fishing was good and you can catch bluegills off the edge of property. Few things that were tough to deal with was the neighbors dogs. Several dogs in little space and they barked all night and all day. Nothing to do with the property or the host.

Summary: We loved everything about this home. Communication with the owner was stellar. The house is huge. Everything you could possibly need or want is supplied to prepare meals, have a bonfire, go kayaking or canoeing, go fishing… it’s just simply amazing. The hosts were very easy to work with. I’ve stayed at a lot of Vrbo properties as well as Other vacation rentals, THIS ONE HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE! Thank you for going above and beyond!

Summary: If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is your place. It's very peaceful, off a long dirt road. The house itself is nice there was plenty of room for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. It had everything we needed. The neighbors were friendly and it was a very dog friendly neighborhood. Plenty of space for our kids and dogs to run around in the yard. The house was stocked with games for a rainy day which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and the couch was amazing! We fished on the lake - sadly we didn't catch anything. We enjoyed the sunset and took the paddle boat out. There are some really nice Ma and Pa restaurants that were fantastic on Main Street and some great little antique stores and a few others. Also, there is a yummy ice cream place in town. There is a really nice park and splash pad for the kids and walking trails that we really enjoyed. We stayed a week which was a bit too long for us to be honest. A long weekend would have sufficed. Carol and her Husband, Carmen were wonderful! Very responsive anytime I messaged which was very much appreciated. When we arrived to the house they left us some really cute cutout cookies that were a hit! There is a nice local grocery store called Tom's in town. Keep in mind if you are looking for food delivery it's VERY limited. We did use DoorDash 1 night and the only options were Taco Bell and Burger King - our driver was LOST as his GPS cut off luckily with a little help he found us. Overall, our stay was nice. This was our first time visiting Michigan. Again, if you are looking for a place to escape reality for a few days, this is the place for you. Thank you again Carol and Carmen for your hospitality.

Summary: My family and I stayed here for a small COVID getaway. Our stay was wonderful. Carol was so communicative. The house had everything needed for a weekend getaway. We cooked our own meals at the house and the house had all the pots and pans you would need- a full kitchen including microwave and toaster. The couch and bed (in master bedroom) were SOOOOO comfy! We loved laying on the couch to watch TV. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking our coffee and looking at the view of the river. We didn’t do any outdoor or water activities due to the rain, but we found plenty to do inside. They have a bunch of different puzzles, which we enjoyed working on together. The house was a little hard to find at first because GPS takes you a little farther down the road, but we easily figured it out. For future guests- when you get to the gate that has the address number (there are two numbers listed) make a right at the gate. Then by looking at pictures of the house, you’ll be able to figure out which house it is. We felt so relaxed and came home feeling refreshed and happy! We can’t wait to come back again. Summary: The house was immaculate and smelled very clean. This was a COVID getaway for me and my daughter and it was just what we needed. Beautiful setting, peaceful good for the soul kind of stay. No complaints at all. Definitely would book again.

Summary: This was a lovely and welcoming home. It was perfect for what we needed. Beautiful view and sunsets. Carol is a great host, excellent communication and the house has everything you need and more! Would recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Summary: The property was great, it was comfortable, and it provided a great week for my friends and mine annual trip. The only issue was the initial finding of the property, only because there’s no direct path up to the house, but that’s easily solved by just looking at the posted pictures and looking at the houses around. Thanks for an awesome stay!
