Summary: We had a pleasant and cozy stay.The shower in both bedrooms had very little pressure, just wish that wasn't the caseEverything else was great :)

Summary: The condo/location was great! Minor bummer that the previous renter damaged the pull out couch, but John/Sandra were able to have someone swing by to fix it for the rest of our stay. The condo has all that's needed, and the parking spot immediately outside the condo is convenient! Quiet condo during our stay and very easy to use. I'd recommend staying here with a single family (2 adults and 2kids 9 & 12) was very comfortable. Place was very clean and appreciated having only my family above us.

Summary: What a wonderful spot. It's an end unit, very quiet, and easy access from the main road but as you enter you drive away from the main road toward the lake so you don't have the road noise. It's very close to lots of fun spots and restaurant choices, and it's right on the lake. What a gorgeous view from the private little beach, and it even had some benches to sit and relax and watch the sunset. John was excellent and recommended tons of things to do in all seasons and Sandra gave us a recommendation for sledding since the snow wasn't quiet down to the lake level yet - we loved it! The condo had everything you could need for your stay including kitchen items - even a toaster and all the cooking/prep utensils and pots/pans/bowls you could need and even had a few dishwasher pods. Dishwasher is SUPER loud, so would run that when you're gone; unfortunately the dryer is super loud too, but it's really nice to have washer/dryer in unit! The spot looked like maybe it had been empty for a bit before our arrival - only complaint was it was a bit dusty on some surfaces, but overall it was quite clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back again both in winter and in summer to try something different!

Summary: Compact, efficient condo at north end of Lake Tahoe. All amenities are included - owner has obviously worked at providing guests the things you want. Lakefront position with beach just beyond the building complex - great views. All important services available within minutes on main road. Lots of activities in area. Owner email is lengthy and provides you lots of information to help plan your visit.

Summary: So this is a good enough unit in a good enough location in northern Lake Tahoe, but the listing overstates a few things…..The initial photographs and name ‘Tahoe Vista’ all imply that there is a fantastic view of the Lake from the unit. There is not, there is barely any view, maybe if you stand on your tiptoes. There is a private beach, but it is tiny, much smaller than the beaches that the complexes on either side have and the water gets quite scummy when there is lots of pollen in the summer as the beach traps it. There are also some rules that the listing fails to mention. Despite the fact that it is a pay in full on booking no cancellation listing, it fails to mention that a week before you arrive you will be sent a new contract with a set of rules and every adult has to sign separately. Of course if you don’t you can’t stay and you won’t get your money back. And then there is the list of other rules…like don’t use the non stick pans at higher than a medium heat (why bother putting them in the unit if you have to have rules like this?). So like I said it’s a good enough unit in a good enough location just don’t think it’s quite everything the listing implies.
