Beautiful 2 BR 2BA Cabin, Built in 2013. This home sits on a large flat lot in the Tahoe Pines area of Homewood, on Lake Tahoe's West Shore. This Cabin is the perfect vacation rental as it sits just 3 blocks from 89, and the lake, in a very quiet, wooded, picturesque neighborhood. The backyard is completely fenced-in, and we are pet friendly. This family cabin is perfect for a family, or just a couple looking for a quiet romantic getaway. Just a short walk to the lake, and Private access to the Tahoe Pines HOA Pier.

Full kitchen w/many major appliances.
W/D, BBQ (May-Nov.), 3 Flat screen TVs, Cable, Internet/WiFi, Amazon Fire Stick & Roku to access all your favorite streaming services, Game Station (Hook Ups ONLY, Bring Your own System and Cords), Wood Fireplace w/stocked covered wood shed.
You also have access to the private Tahoe Pines Home Owners Pier, just 4 blocks away. Bring your boat, ample parking, and two Marina's and boat launches close by.
House Layout is as follows, (See Pixs):
Downstairs: Living area w/Fireplace, Eating area, Kitchen w/eating bar, Laundry, a Full Bath, + Dimmable lighting.
Queen-size futon that folds out into a bed downstairs.
Upstairs: Master Bedroom w/Bath, has a queen bed, plus a couch that folds down into a bed for a toddler, or child, Flat Screen TV, Cable, Amazon FS, w/recessed dimmable lighting.
The second bedroom upstairs has 2 twin beds, Flat screen TV, Cable, & Amazon Firestick.
Note: All linens, and towels are provided, as well as dishes, cooking, and eating utensils in the kitchen.
Outside: Large Completely Fenced-in Private Deck & Backyard, BBQ, Outdoor Tables, chairs, and benches. There is also a deck and chairs for relaxing in the front of the home.
This home is ideally located for both summer and winter activities.
Homewood Restaurants, & Stores, are only 1 mile West down the road, Sunnyside is just down the road as well where you can enjoy The Fire Sign Cafe's famous Breakfast, or eat Brunch on the water across the street at the Sunnyside Cafe. Tahoe City is just 4 miles back, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, river rafting, boating, cycling, and world-class GOLF. Right behind the Cabin, there's great summer hiking and biking in the neighboring Blackwood Canyon/Creek area, as well as the bike trail along 89, just 3 blocks away. Chamber's Landing beach/Pier is also just down the road.
For winter skiing you are right next to Homewood Resort, and 15 mins from the well-known Squaw Valley, and Alpine Meadows.

Summary: According to the host, there was a miscommunication with the cleaner. We had to shovel our way to the side door because the front door had 5 feet of snow against it. As we made our way in, we say towels piled on the kitchen counter, trash in the containers, and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Making our way upstairs to the bedrooms we saw more towels on the floor, bedding piled on each bed, and a mysterious "crunchy" towel stuffed in a drawer. My wife and kids didnt come here to do chores, but they had to be done. We stayed up late to get all the bedding and towels washed. We also did the dishes so we could use them. Absolutely not what was promised. I contacted the host who apologized and said he would refund me. To my suprise, it was only 150. He made it sound like he would send a refund for the entire amount, which he got called out on and the promptly return the rest of our money. Aside from all that BS, the hot tub had trouble holding the heat. It dropped 5 degrees without jets in 1/2 hour so we didnt get too much time to relax in that. The free wood for the fireplace was nice. Only had to wade through 5 feet of snow and 15 feet away to get it. The chimney could use a sweep. A lot of smoke was trapped in the house causing allery problems for a few of us. Ive stayed in better hotels for cheaper. So take your chance if this is what you're looking for. Good Luck!

Summary: Great place for a small family. Fenced yard was big and great for our daughter and our dog. Covered hot tub was amazing after long days in the snow. Kitchen and living with fireplace great place for the fam. And having the bedroom upstairs was nice when putting the kid to sleep early. All around solid property

Summary: The place was a little small but overall nice place. The main issue is communication with the owner. Tried asking him questions and he just didn’t really answer us. Kept giving us a generic message. I asked if it’s possible for a few hour early check in if it is available. Like if the night before isn’t booked because we wanted some family to hangout there while we went skiing. His answer “the place is always booked” but you can clearly see it wasn’t. You can just tell us, you accommodate an early check in and I’m okay with that.

Summary: The place was as described and is a relaxing getaway in Tahoe. The host left very detailed instructions to use the amenities of the place (which was properly maintained and clean) and various tips to make sure our stay is smooth as possible. Make sure to watch-out for the bears!

Summary: This was our second stay at the cabin. The cabin is the perfect fit for our family. It was clean and the fence yard was great for our dogs. It’s an easy drive to all of our favorite spots in Tahoe. We will definitely stay again.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay! Very Clean, very comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the backyard. Great neighborhood! Great location! Wish we had more time to enjoy the beach/dock .

Summary: Easy access to the many trails with spectacular views of Lake Tahoe. Being pet friendly is a major plus and the fenced in yard was awesome. Be sure to use the bear resistant trash containers properly. First night there, the neighbor across the street didn’t shut his properly and the next morning, he had quite a mess in his yard.

Summary: Nice cozy place, loved the little extras like shampoo, soap & lotion dispensers. Smart TV for streaming was great! Blankets by the couch was so nice. Nice backyard, cleaned up quite a bit off dog poop from guests before us, dog owners should appreciate & respect that they can stay at a pet friendly cabin by cleaning up after their dogs....come on people, be a good human:(
