Fully furnished and beautifully decorated. We have added a Ring doorbell for added security

Summary: We had the best weekend for my husband's 50th birthday (surprise). The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. It was immaculate and so welcoming. We spent both nights outside by the fireplace. It was the best! We enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch and played endless games of cornhole with our 13 year old son. We all enjoyed the selection of games they had on hand. We spent plenty of time down by the lake catching tiny fish. We had one of the best steaks at Big Mike's Steakhouse for dinner one night and grilled out the other night. This sweet cottage is so quiet and relaxing. No busy roads nearby- only the sound of birds and scampering squirrels. We couldn't ask for a better time or better accommodations.

Summary: Loved the screened in porch and fireplace. My Dad loved sitting on the porch and watching the boats go by. Curious about the outdoor fireplace history. The hanging arm seems to suggest this was once a house fireplace. House was clean and neat and decorated well. Will be back.

Summary: Our family decided to stay on the lake for the weekend. It was a great location to meet up with our daughter in Huntsville while we are in Atlanta. The house was absolutely fantastic. It seemed the hosts decided to go better or best on anything they put in the house. This included the decor, furniture, outdoor fireplace, kitchen dishes & utensils, etc, etc. etc. The view was nice and we enjoyed eating breakfast on the covered deck.

Summary: Our first impressions were that it looked so homey and relaxing. Everything was so neat and comfortable. This was supposed to be our semi annual mother and 6 daughters trip, but mom passed away in April. We set a lot in the spacious livingroom or on the spacious screened in porch talking and reminiscing over our past trips with mom. Our trip may sound sad, but actually it gave us time to reflect, relax and come away peaceful. Thanks for our sisters lake therapy at your cottage.

Summary: We were in town for my daughters 3 day golf tournament. We wanted something bigger than a hotel room for the 3 of us for 5 days and we found it!! It was great having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lake view was nice and relaxing after all the walking we did. If we end up in Scottsboro again we would definitely rent here again.
