3 Bedroom House in Point Venture

Spacious three-bedroom townhome located on the waters edge of Lake Travis (north shore).
Recently renovated lakefront home in the resort community of Point Venture featuring a spectacular lake view, and located on the main body of Lake Travis. This home boasts an eclectic mixture of nautical decor and rustic charm. It is a relaxing and comfortable retreat for friends and family. There are two large decks overlooking the lake and a gas grill located on the upper level. Enjoy dining al fresco on the upper deck while taking in the amazing lake views provided at this home. The main level offers an open floor plan and high ceilings. There are great lake views from both the living room and dining room. There is also a 60" smart TV with satellite reception in the living room as well. A large fully stocked kitchen with beautiful granite counter-tops is located upon entry to this home. High speed internet with WIFI is available for those of us who need to stay plugged in.
There is a bedroom located on each of the three levels of this home. There are also two sleeping area with bunk beds, and three full bathrooms. The large master bedroom is located on the lower level and has a great lake view. The master bathroom has a large shower and jacuzzi tub. A laundry area with washer and dryer is also located in the master bathroom. Outside the master bedroom is a large game room with a ping pong table, wet bar and yet another great lake view. There is also a sitting area with a 60" television and sleeping nook.
Stone steps lead down to a large two level boat dock with lighting and shaded seating on the upper level. Enjoy swimming or floating in the lake off the dock. There is also ample room to tie up a boat alongside the dock. Boat ramps are available for launching in the private neighborhood park. The Point Venture marina is a few hundred yards away where you can get gas, ice or whatever you need for your boating adventures.
This home is conveniently located directly across the street from the clubhouse where you will have access to the community fitness center and junior Olympic sized swimming pool which overlooks the lake. A short walk down the street will bring you to the "Gnarly Gar" which is our neighborhood floating restaurant/bar. Point Venture also offers a nine hole golf course featuring the sports bar "Caddie Shack". Both the "Gnarly Gar" and "Caddie Shack" often offer live music on weekends. The Point Venture private neighborhood park is also lakefront and offers a playground, covered pavilion, newly built disc golf course, and boat ramps. While you are there it is also a great place to go fishing or to catch a beautiful sunset. Lighted tennis courts are available just a short ride from this home.
Lowest level has a king sized bed and full sized sleeper sofa in the master bedroom. The game room has a bunk bed that is a twin over full size.
Main level has a queen sized bed in a bedroom. There is also a bunk bed that is a twin over full size in the sleeping area off the dining room.
Upper level has a queen sized bed in a bedroom.

Summary: Great place! We had a wonderful time. Kitchen was well-stocked and easy to work in. The bedroom layout was a little strange. Third floor bedroom had no bathroom and its AC exhausted heat into the dinette area. There was a bunk in the game room and a bunk in the dinette. Worked fine for us but not ideal if everyone doesn’t go to bed at the same time. More comfy chairs would be nice in the living room. We had 10 people and there was seating for only 7. Had to move bar stools in to play games/watch tv. We had fun. Water was beautiful but lake level was down. The hike back up to the house is pretty far. Overall it was great. We’d stay there again.

Summary: Perfect getaway for husband and I! The home was clean, comfortable & has everything you need! The lake was 45 feet below normal so the dock was quit a hike down! And it is pretty far from stores / restaurants but it was perfect for us because we wanted to isolate this weekend…the neighborhood does have a restaurant and store so you honestly don’t have to go anywhere if you choose to. We will definitely stay again.

Summary: Wonderful visit for eclipse. House was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Host did an excellent job with communication. Only downside was how steep it is to get to the lake - but that is everywhere along Lake Travis. Overall, great experience.

Summary: My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place! The owner, Scott, was great to work with and they have a prime location that always has deep water. Be ready to get your leg workout as the lake is low and there are LOTS of steps. But well worth it to enjoy the dock and swimming. Thanks for a great trip!

Summary: Property was great! It’s even nicer in person than the pictures suggest. Plenty of space for everyone that stayed. View off the deck was beautiful, great spot for breakfast and dinner. Close to liquid thrillz and the restaurant if you want. The dock was our favorite spot. Plenty of noodles to just float in the water. The top deck was awesome, had a little opening to jump off too which provided entertainment. We hope to return to the property in the future. Definitely would recommend!

Summary: ** Our stay was the first week of July 2022. Scott sends great/detailed information in getting you set up and to the property. The house is truly fully stocked, especially the kitchen. Unless you need a specialty item they will have everything (including seasoning). The house is lovely, inviting, and comfortable. Everyone in our group was impressed, the inside décor is very nice. And outside patios are wonderful. I can't say enough how much fun we had. I almost forgot to mention the pool is conveniently located also. It is a nice hike to the back yard doc, but well worth it. The water was perfect. This is a great property!

Summary: Home is beautiful and very accomdating. The dock was well maintained too and had a lot of outdoor furniture which was a plus. Only drawback was that the VRBO was almost 1 hr from most conveniences and nearby restaurants close quite early. Had the location been 'across the river' then it would have been a much, much shorter drive. Overall, a great stay and I would happily recommend!
