3 Bedroom House in Wangi Wangi

Lake View is a pretty waterfront reserve property with delightful views and unfettered access to the foreshore and beautiful Lake Macquarie. The house is a split-level 3BR home providing excellent outlooks from two bedrooms and the living area and kitchen. While it is a comfortable, quality, recently renovated home, it has a relaxed 'beach house' feel to it. Two bathrooms and 3 toilets.
The top deck is a private retreat and the lower deck has outdoor furniture and BBQ. Both decks provide magnificent views. There is a medium sized flat lawn area at the rear of the house and the steps lead through tropical foliage down to the resort-style pool deck. The pool area is located among ferns and palms under the cliff and is very pretty - also with a lake view. There is shaded seating and also a shaded timber table and seating. The pool deck also looks out over the lake. Leaves need scooping from the pool at times.
The stairs then extend down to the grassed foreshore, which is ideal for outdoor games such as cricket or kicking a football. Another timber table with seating for six is close to the water. There is also a small sheltered inlet providing a calm and protected mooring suitable for a medium-sized boat. You will need your own mooring lines.
A 2-minute walk along the shore takes you to a pebbly/sandy beach for swimming or to ski from.
One carport space and two safe on-street parking spaces are available. This is a quiet and safe locale. We have never had any security concerns. Even the neighbours are friendly !!
Internet access will need to be via your mobile phone hot-spot.
A 2-minute drive or an easy 20 minute walk takes you to Wangi Village. This is a quiet little centre with library, PO, IGA, hotel, RSL, Pizza, Take-aways, cafes, restaurants, bakery, servo etc. Has a nice relaxed feel to it. There is even a small hardware store and service station.
We love our little piece of paradise. It is a lovely clean, comfortable and well-cared for property. It is our home for 10 months of the year and we are happy to share it with good visitors who will also appreciate and care for it.

Summary: The property views were wonderful . Rod was very nice and accommodating one of the best owners I’ve dealt with ! . Unfortunately it wasn’t private as we thought it was as that was very important for us , both neighbours can see into the back area and pool and also other people walk through and have access into the bottom of the yard where the lake is .If privacy isn’t an issue for you than I highly recommend this property .

Summary: Beautiful little property on the lake with your own access to the water. Kids played every morning by the lake, the couldn’t get enough of it. There are so many levels it’s like a little private wonderland. Better than other properties on Lake Macquarie where you are flat to the water, crammed next to neighbors and told to stay off their lawn 😂 ... definitely not like that on this property. Rod and Cheryl are great hosts, the house is actually theirs so it’s in immaculate condition and they go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed. Wangi Wangi is also one of the nicer areas in Lake Macquarie... so all round. You can’t go wrong.

Summary: The moment you step in the front door and see the Lake you feel tension melt away. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds comfy, the kitchen easy to use. In the shower or the spa the view to the lake was stunning. You looked out to the canopy of trees, feeling like in a tree house and viewing the lake just beyond. We enjoyed the three levels of outdoor entertaining, the patio, by the pool and enjoyed breakfast at the table down by the lake. Just to the left is a little sandy beach area making it easy to go for a swim. Very comfortable stay with family.
