Summary: To stay inside Yellowstone park expect to pay more for lodging and limited food options.

Summary: We were given a room in the smaller 2nd building on the second. Building doesn't have an elevator. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom could have been cleaner. We were disappointed to not be able to get reservations for dining either night we were there. Every staff member we encountered were very friendly. Not having internet service was inconvenient

Summary: It was ok.. cabins are in disrepair and the grounds are unsightly … looks like a neglected field with zero upkeep. Cabins were adequate and over priced… no services

Summary: There is wifi coverage but it is not available to guests. I booked two rooms with the same confirmation number, and the front desk manager was very unprofessional. He checked for several hours and only gave me the key at 11pm.

Summary: The cabins were not that great, no wifi, very little food choices and no way to communicate with the front desk.Hair dryer literally fell apart in my hands. I understand it’s old but you can provide a more modern stay.

Summary: It was overpriced, dated, and lacked timely maintenance compared to the Mammoth Hotel. The age is showing on this hotel and cabins. For as much money Xanterra Management makes managing properties like the resorts in Yellowstone you’d think they’d have infused a large sum into the Yellowstone Lake resort. Much of what we encountered was over price mediocre meals and trips inside the park.

Summary: We stayed two nights. The front desk staff (Laura, Patricia & Mgr. Carol were outstanding! They helped us upgrade to a larger bed to ensure our 42 year marriage did not end on their grounds! 😜 The rest of the staff including the wait staff, concierge etc were also of highest caliber. We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel!

Summary: It met expectations. The dining left something to be desired, but you’re not there for the food , right? The hotel was nice and parking was plentiful.

Summary: There are many other better hotels. If you like to have a social media detox and to go diet, this hotel would be perfect. It’s not my style.
