Positive: Beautiful view of the lake and nice deck. Accessible to most attractions. Good space for 4
Negative: Not clean- cobwebs everywhere; window broken; Kitchen not well-cleaned (moldy coffee grounds in coffee pot, solely microwave and toaster. Broken faucet in 1st floor tub. Wifi info was not left and could t access email. Did mamagento connect with our contact but she did not have it and had to call the landlord. Be nice if there were chairs for tanglewood.
Summary: We made it work for us and had a nice weekend, but won’t rent it again. Suggest getting better cleaners and fixing it up

Positive: The place was clean. The location was fabulous.
Negative: I regret not looking at the reviews more carefully. The pictures do not accurately represent how dated the house is. Like some of the cabinets in the kitchen are coming off of their hinges. Two of the bedrooms are in the basement and it's a little musty.

Positive: The property was perfect for our group and was equipped with all the needs; kitchen, cooking, bathroom, and other areas of the home. The location of the home on a lake was incredible too.
Negative: The heat was controlled and was extremely cold at night especially for the Berkshires in the winter. The living area at night was set to 63-64 degrees.
Summary: Excellent stay, excellent home and excellent location. So happy to have been there and would go back again

Positive: The location of the property is absolutely perfect. Convenient to all the sites in the Berkshires and perched on a lovely private pond. The hosts left wine and cheese which was a nice touch and the house was well stocked.
Negative: The house was covered in cobwebs, smelled musty and no one responded to any of my texts about the torn up garbage in the driveway. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging a cleaning fee. We bought cleaners, air freshener and fabric refresher. I had to put my hand in a nest of spider webs to retrieve the key. it took half a roll of paper towels to clean off the tv. Cobwebs hung off of everything. Both shower/tub combos stained and gross. Even the plastic dish drain was gross. A good power washing, top to bottom dusting and some glad air fresheners and you go from a thumbs down to a thumbs up. Also the oar holder on the boat broken. One screw to fix it would have made our boat ride a pleasure instead of extremely difficult.
Summary: Could be a goldmine. as is , not worth the money.
