Summary: First, I recommend this rental and these hosts. The listing is accurate in all respects. I did not meet the hosts, but check-in was very smooth, and email communication was exceptionally clear and fast. We, 5 adults, were at the location the end of May, beginning of June. The bird sightings and sounds were well beyond expectations. The hosts undersold this aspect of their rental...spring birding, wonderful. The amenities were top-notch, clean, well maintained and of good quality. The grounds were clean, grass was cut, and even the dock was clean and that takes effort because of the birds. All aspects of the home were comfortable, including the beds...very comfortable bedding. The cabin itself had signs of aging, some aspects more than others, but again all was clean. We made good use of the property inside and out. Internet was reliable, streaming onto devices was uninterrupted, though streaming and then playing on larger TV was laggy, downloading first solved this. The lake is seasonal dependent, but for us, we were able to paddle board and kayak in clean cool water. Lastly, this is relatively private and thus quiet, you only see the other homes from the back of the property. Well deserved 5 stars.

Summary: May long and the weather was crap, thankfully this well equiped cabin had lots of games. When the rain stopped, i caught a bunch of fish off the dock (bring lots of lures) and we had a couple campfire nights. The bbq is high quality as well. The local general store is really well stocked, and the kids will love the candy selection.

Summary: Beautiful property with amazing views of the lake. Perfect for a quiet family getaway. There were indoor and outdoor activities for kids which was great! Only thing that we didnt expect was to have to take our garbage/recycling with us, which made it a bit trickier when travelling from far away.

Summary: Cabin was exactly as expected. Very clean, lots of kitchen utensils, with games and books available for guests. Plus VERY comfortable beds. Firepit was excellent with chairs available around it. View of lake from this beach front property is awesone. All in all it was a great 5* experience and would recommend to others.

Summary: We really enjoyed our winter weekend getaway at Lac La Lakehouse! Saw 6 deer and a big moose right outside the cabin. Loved the views and enjoyed sitting around the firepit.
