The home's location on the lake puts it in a perfect location for kayakers and paddleboarders looking to get out on the water - there's even a kayak and paddle board available at the home, so you can save room while packing. After a day of exploring, you can curl up in front of the electric fireplace and enjoy chats under the high ceiling beams. The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests need to put together meals for the whole group. But of course, cooking out on the gas grill is always an option. Looking for a place to work? One bedroom features a desk workspace with a lake view, perfect for working through assignments or projects. When everything's done, you can head outside and light up the firepit for a fun end to the day. Guests will be just under three miles from the trails at Missiquoi National Wildlife Refuge and within 48 miles of Beartown Ski Area, Smugglers' Notch Resort, and Jay Peak Resort. Sugarbush Resort is just under 90 miles away!

Summary: We had a pleasant stay at this house on the lake. Very quiet area. It was nice to paddle around and do some fishing from the kayak provided with the rental.

Summary: The location is perfect. The water is shallow for a long stretch with beautiful view. The house needs deep cleaning and there are several unfinished renovations. We had some issues but they were all addressed immediately after we call Vacasa customer service. Over all, we had a very good experience.

Summary: The property was nice, the house was nice, lots of space nice and open with all the appliance's anyone would need for a long stay. The furniture was comfortable and a great view of the lake. The only things I would like to see would be curtains or shades on all the doors and windows, especially the bathroom for added privacy, some people travelling don't always feel comfortable in different neiborhood. It would be nice to have a functional bathroom fan, the furniture on the back deck and the back deck itself was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. Those are all kind of minor things in my eyes, I would definitely stay there again anytime!!!

Summary: Lovely, well-equipped cottage in a stunning lakeside location. Our family of 4 plus was very comfortable. This was the perfect home base to return to after exploring local wildlife trails and more in northern Vermont. Easy drive to Burlington. We all loved the fireplace and fire pit overlooking the lake. Hope to return!

Summary: My family of 4 plus our dog stayed here for 2 nights on our way home from Maine to Michigan. In addition to relaxing at the lake, we ate dinners in Burlington and spent some time driving through the islands, and the location was perfect for that. The gorgeous lake view and quiet neighborhood would make this an amazing place to stay any time of year. Pros: - The views are fantastic. It was a beautiful place to watch the sunrise, and just relax sitting by the water. Having comfortable outdoor seating was a definite plus. - Our teens loved being able to use the kayak and SUP - Well stocked with dishes, pots, soaps, detergents, and towels - The window A/C units kept the house cool - Ample seating for a family - The patio table is appreciated, but an umbrella would definitely be a plus Cons: - The lights in the house are all extremely dim, making it difficult to read, play cards, etc. at night - The electricity in general seems a bit iffy - the power kept flickering on and off, the bathroom fan doesn't work, and only one ceiling fan works - I'd be more comfortable with some kind of window covering, frosted glass, or blinds in the bathroom Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the Lake Champlain area!
