3 Bedroom House in Chippewa Lake

Beautifully restored lakefront home with views of lake from almost every room. Large front deck that is perfect for watching the Chippewa Lake ski team or catching the amazing sunsets. Perfect family getaway that has 2 community parks a short walk away with tennis court, Pickle Ball court, bocce ball court, playgrounds, corn hole and picnic tables. Basketball half court and beach volleyball also available. Kayaks, Paddle Boards, bikes and sport equipment are included with rental. Garden shed houses the Bocce balls, volleyball, basketball, corn hole bags, kayak and paddle board paddles, as well as fishing poles and life vests (multiple sizes). Guests do not have access to the private docks. However, guests can launch the kayaks and paddle boards from the property to the right of the beach. Note: Two people are needed to carry each kayak and paddle board. Would recommend to stay around the perimeter of the lake.
Home has two (2) bathrooms and two (2 ) bedrooms, plus a sunroom with a queen size sleeper sofa. French doors close off the sunroom, which could be used as a 3rd bedroom if needed. Living room has two Ikea chairs that convert to beds which would be ideal for kids. Home sleeps six adults (6) comfortably. Clawfoot tub, original to house, in master bath and guest bathroom has an oversized shower.
Fully furnished kitchen with all amenities and appliances. Outside gas grill also available.
Internet with Wi-Fi and Smart TV with Roku. i.e. Netflix and Amazon Prime etc. with your own account. Gas fireplace is great for winter months.
Three (3) restaurants within walking distance. The Oaks Lakeside, The Village Inn, and Contessa's on the Lake.
Home is also a great location for those that need a place to stay while celebrating a wedding at the Oaks Lakeside.
Downtown Medina is approximately10 minutes away and has many more fine dining options available. Historic downtown Medina has a beautiful gazebo along with many festivals throughout the year; Music in the Park, Ice festival in February, Art in the Park etc.
Home is within 40 minutes from Cleveland, 25 minutes from Akron, and less than an hour away from Amish Country.
No smoking, party’s or pets allowed.
Carbon Monoxide and smoke detectors installed and tested
Home has outdoor security monitoring with Ring and Blink cameras.
Home is also professionally cleaned and sanitized for our guests after each visit. All linens and towels are provided and are washed with hot water and bleach. Guests also have access to washer and dryer (detergent included).

Summary: The hosts are very kind. The house is charming with a very pretty view. There are kayaks and bikes ready to use. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting or like us, attending a wedding at the oaks.

Summary: beautiful property on the lake with spectacular views of sunsets, friendly neighbors, cozy cottage with lots of light, exceptionally clean and well decorated and updated wit lots of charm, comfy beds, kayaks, paddle boards, games. Stayed three weeks and din't want to leave. we will be back. Ed and Kathy were beyond helpful and friendly.

Summary: This place was so perfect for a quiet stay at the lake. Not having to bring along linens, towels, or paper products really makes such a huge difference! *The beds are SOFT. For someone who loves a firmer mattress, it might not feel so nice, but we were good. Also, the sunroom pull-out bed was the most comfortable "bonus bed" I've ever slept in. We all took a night sleeping on it just because we liked it that much. * The floors are squeaky. It wasn't loud enough to keep anyone from sleeping or wake anyone up, just no sneaking up on anyone. *No dressers anywhere, and no closet in the master bedroom (it was in the master bath). If you hate living out of your suitcase, either bring some hangers or plan to use the bathroom shelves/drawers. There were tons of hooks EVERYWHERE though, for hanging towels or clothes or whatever you'd need. *A well-stocked kitchen. Dishes for 12, so you weren't having to wash constantly, and all the basic cookware/bakeware/utensils you might need for making meals. I mean, if you wanted to bake a three layer cake while on vacation, that might be difficult without bringing your own stuff, but for basic meals and even a batch of homemade cookies, you'll be fine. * Ceiling fans everywhere helped keep the temperature pleasant. * Bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, even multiple sizes of lifejackets. Game equipment. Even a swing and a hammock across the street to enjoy the lake. *EXCELLENT communication with the owners. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: Lovely cottage right on the lake. Spotlessly clean and well-cared for. We had a nice time visiting family in the area and really enjoyed being so close to the water. Our 3-year-old loved playing on the little beach.

Summary: Ed and Kathy are wonderful hosts. They were so gracious and thoughtful. My husband and I stayed in this property for 2 nights following our wedding. There were congratulatory flowers waiting for us- so sweet! The home is beautiful and has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to visit again!
