Isn't it time to give yourself a break? Enjoy a peaceful stay on Ratigan Lake in Ada, Mi. City close and country quiet. no pets and 3 day stay required. The tidy spacious 3 bedroom house has a fresh paint, flooring, bathroom, heat and air- immaculate throughout. From the new deck you can listen to the birds and enjoy a soothing lake view. There is a private beach and large dock for fishing and swimming Basic fishing poles are stored at the house and a 22 foot pontoon boat is available (separately) for rent for cruising fun- Inquire with the owner.
Lake Ratigan is a 55 acre all-sports private lake.
Spring thru fall: fish from the dock in one of the best private lakes around. Local fish include trout, bass, northern pike, blue gill and crappie. you can swim, BBQ on the grill, and roast marsh-mellows over the fire-pit.
Winter: think ice fishing, downhill skiing, family time and board games!
Nearby: 4 minutes to cannonsberg village for breakfast, bakery, deli, pub and gas, 7 minutes to Cannonsberg ski lodge, 11 minutes to Riverbend Bar and Grill- good food and service, 13 minutes to Ada Township for shopping, food, dining, personal services , healthcare and worship. 15 minutes to Grand Rapids for anything else.

Summary: We stayed the weekend of the Grand Rapids Marathon and enjoyed being tucked away in a beautiful and quiet spot, not too far from the city. Host was very responsive and available anytime we had a need or a question.

Summary: We rented the waterfront cottage as a family of nine. We spent most of our time outdoors at the lake swimming, fishing, sunning, pontooning and bonfiring. The cottage provided plenty of room for all of us with spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. There's a short road to ride bikes on but nice for taking walks too. This is a great cottage to "unplug" at.

Summary: 9 of us stayed here and were very comfortable. The beds were cozy, the house was so cute and very clean. Lots of boating and fishing and playing on the beach. Nearby restaurants and stores were awesome and we even visited urgent care which was super quick and friendly. We will stay here again in the future. Owner was great and very friendly!

Summary: My wife, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. As other reviewers have noted, the wi-fi is spotty and the water is,well...well water. The pier is a little dilapidated too. But, if you can look past these imperfections, I would highly recommend this rental home. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. Nice sunsets, good fishing (the canoe was a plus), great stargazing. Town is about 5 minutes away for some things you may have forgotten. The home is well appointed with most cooking utensils and supplies that you might need to prepare a meal. The grill is a gas/charcoal combo which served us well. Overall, a good stay, in a nice home that I'm hoping we return to in the near future.

Summary: Jane was very easy to reach and communicate with. Property is beautiful and comfortable. The house is nice but could be better. Difficult for my elderly (75+) parents to get around and dangerous in some areas. A/C was a problem but Jane tried her best. Overall Nice.

Summary: We had a great time on this beachfront house for a long weekend. The kids loved playing in the water and sand the whole time. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend.

Summary: Loved the shaded deck. Was able to work on crafts out there all day. Beautiful view. Spacious kitchen. Awesome grill available. The available boat was the best. The host was pleasant and went above our expectations.

Summary: Loved this house. Was in a perfect location for where I was working. Brought my whole family. Lots of beds. The host was awesome. My only small complaint was the WiFi never worked. So the tv never worked. Luckily my 2 year old had her tablet . But everything else was great
