About The space:
Walk out of the main bedroom or the sunroom directly to the deck and feel like you are at a tropical destination. The view is everything. Once there, you will not want to leave.
You will have access to the whole house. Enjoy 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, and a sunroom.
The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics.
Quiet neighborhood.
Not a lot of grass.
BBQ in the backyard and enjoy.
Drink your coffee, wine, etc. right on the deck and relax by the water!
Walking distance to Avalon private beach. This beach is small and quiet.

**Being on the lake can bring some seasonal notes to keep in mind. The water may not be swimmable in hot months, such as August. Fish Flies season is around the month of June.

Summary: Lovely lakefront cottage with an awesome deck. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen during our visit - the owners were responsive and tried to get it resolved. My husband got some bites by a spider on the deck one night. The beds were comfortable and the house was a cozy place to spend a few days.

Summary: Staying here was absolutely wonderful. Girlfriend and I stayed with our dog coming up to visit my great nieces and couldn't have asked for a better place. Super quiet and peaceful, with just a short drive to anything we needed. Coffee at the local marina down the road was wonderful as well. Host was quick and polite responding to any questions we had. Look forward to booking again for our next visit.

Summary: I booked this house purely for the back yard view. And truly that was only redeeming quality. There was something broken in just about every corner of the house.. the screen door had no hydronic keeping it from slamming on you or the railing. The stove handle was dangling off as well as the whole front of the stove was coming apart, one of the cabinets doesn’t close so it just hangs open. The floor boards in the hallway are soft and will buckle under foot. The floors are halfway ripped up and have raw sharp edges and SO sticky from whatever cleaner they use. The fridge door handle was screwed back together and there was liquid in the bottom of the fridge.. The toilet paper holder was snapped in half and a roll was just shoved on the edge of it. The French doors in the bedroom had giant holes cut in it where they removed the original Locks and added their own. You could literally pull those doors open from the outside if you really wanted too. The other back door had just a broken broom handle as the locking mechanism. I noticed a small window in the water heater room that was PROPPED OPEN with a wooden rod only after we had already slept in this house. It is not safe in the least bit. I messaged the property owner to let them know of all these damages to ensure that we wouldn’t be blamed for it and all we got was “I’m sorry I hope it didn’t hinder your stay” Overall this place is not worth the money. They really need to fix the place up for it to be worth 160+ a night.

Summary: Me and my 3 gf’s had a wonderful time. The weather was great and the deck right next to the water is awesome!! There were some things that were broken in the house that were like that when we arrived. It didn’t affect our stay unless we wanted to hide the oven. The lack of an outlet by the sink in the bathroom was a problem. We had to do your hair in one of the bedrooms. The decorations are cute but some repairss are needed. It was one of the more reasonable priced ones though.

Summary: Less than expected. Very poorly lit. Deck is dangerous. Has no guard rails . Height of guard rails does not meet Michigan’s inspection code. I feel off deck 1st night and was injured. Spot light was not working and the few solar light does not provide adequate lighting for safety.

Summary: Very nice way to spend a vacation, sitting on the deck enjoying the constant breeze off the lake. Could have lived on the deck! Very quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic and great for walks.

Summary: This was a little slice of perfection. A quaint little house with an amazing view. It was so peaceful. We are already looking for future dates to come back.

Summary: This is an older home ON the lake. It is an open floor plan and can view the lake from one end of the sectional. The kitchen was fully equiped with some seasonings. The kitchen table, although very pretty, was a little wobbly-be cautious. The deck out back was very nice and welcoming with a couple chairs and table. The sunrise was spectacular ✨️.
