Be our guest at our completely renovated lakefront property on Acre Lake, a 60+ acre lake located in Susquehanna County, PA. Our home is perfect for families and pets to enjoy a nice, and relaxing vacation. Acre Lake is in the middle of the Endless Mountain region located just 5 minutes from I-81, 30 minutes from Scranton and 30 minutes from Binghamton. It is a perfect place to take a short trip any season of the year.
During the Spring and Summer months, you are steps away from a private floating dock for easy access to swim, boat (bring your own motorized boat up 60hp), canoeing, jet skiing, floating in a raft and some great fishing with opportunities to catch largemouth bass, spotted bass, catfish, muskies and yellow perch. Fishing licenses are required for 16 years and older (or fish at your own risk). If you don’t have one, licenses can be purchased at the local Acre Lake General Store located only a short walk away.
The elongated shape of Acre Lake also offers a perfect spot for a morning kayak ride. Finish off the morning with a nice coffee sitting on our newly constructed deck or our four-season sunroom. Sit by the firepit, cook some delicious food on the grill, and make time to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake.
If the Fall and Winter are more your seasons, come visit and enjoy unique ice finishing or a short 10+ min drive for skiers to Elk Mountain Ski Resort, which offers over 25 skiing trails for every experience level.
Our vacation home accommodates 10 guests across 4 bedrooms spread across two floors of the home, with linens/towels included.
The main floor plan provides a modern kitchen and living area with a brand new gas powered fireplace (available October – April) and access to our sunroom and deck where you can enjoy our hot tub anytime of year. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, cookware and stemware, dual coffee maker (carafe/Keurig), and much more! Wrap around the main level and you will find two bedrooms (both queens) and a remodeled full bathroom. A propane gas grill near the lake is also ready for the grill master.
Our upper level offers a cozy desk area overlooking the lake for those needing to work remotely, a complete brand new full bathroom, a two-bunk bedroom (twin over full) perfect for the kids, and a king bedroom with a lake view. Large flat screen TVs accessing our streaming services are available throughout the home. Free WI-FI and hi-speed internet extends to all floors throughout the house. You will find ceiling fans in all rooms to keep the home extra cool during the summer.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, you should plan to visit the 405 acres that make-up Salt Springs State Park. This well-maintained park has three waterfalls and hemlock trees that are over 300 years old.

Summary: This was a beautiful home and being pet friendly was a PLUS!! We all enjoyed the jacuzzi and fireplace. We also loved that ALL the beds had foam mattress tops which were extremely comfortable. I personally was happy all the light switches were labeled😁 and all lines were supplied as well as some toiletry necessities. The owners were very accommodating when we were running low. We would like to come back when we can take advantage of the lake for it snowed/ice most of our stay.

Summary: My girlfriends and I stayed in this lovely home for a weekend getaway. So relaxing. The house was exactly as listed and had wonderful little touches like quality shampoo and coffee pods. Completely renovated on the inside. The owners were pleasant to work with. The hot tub was pristine. We went for a nice kayak on the lake and enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. We would definitely recommend this rental to friends. Sad we didn’t get to use the fire pit due to rain.

Summary: Newly remodeled home offering everything we needed for a long weekend escape! Location on the water was lovely, the home was clean & spacious, and the bedrooms very comfortable. The enclosed back porch was a perfect spot to relax in the afternoons, rain or shine, and the lake is the perfect size for exploring via kayak. At night, the hot tub was a welcome reprieve for the humans in our group, who spent our days out hiking local parks. Meanwhile, our worn-out pup enjoyed the thoughtfully placed dog bed on the enclosed porch! Perfect!

Summary: The house is stunning and really right on the lake! The pictures do not lie. It is exceptionally clean and organized. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are plush and cozy. The kayaks are great and a soak in the immaculately kept hot tub after kayaking while looking out at the lake is a blissful delight. The owners put in exceptional effort to ensure that our stay was great….and it was.
