Summary: We stayed with our adult children and grandchildren. We cooked all meals for three days, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Our grandson (age 5) caught four fish off the dock. The boat ramp in the park next door was awesome for afternoons on the lake. We appreciated the little touches like towels for the lake/hot tub. The owner answered all of my questions in record time. In short, it was an awesome stay, and we would definitely return!

Summary: Our stay at the lake house was a real winner! As a 48-year-old dad with six kids, finding a place that keeps everyone happy can be tough for my wife and me, but this spot nailed it. The first thing that struck me was how clean and well-maintained the house was – a big plus for any family trip. The location was just perfect, right on the shores of the lake. We had a blast swimming and boating– the kids couldn't get enough! The view was fantastic, and it was pure bliss to unwind on the deck, taking in the scenery. Inside, the place was spacious and cozy – plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meal prep a breeze. The living area had enough comfy seating for movie nights, and we had a lot of laughs playing board games together at the large kitchen table. The biggest surprise was that no one was ever on the lake. We thought it would for sure be packed with boaters and swimmers each day. But, nope! Even the locals stated the huge lake is rarely busy. It's like our private paradise—no noisy crowds, just pure serenity. Kids loved swimming and splashing around undisturbed. If you want family fun, this hidden gem is the spot! The owners were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Overall, it was a fun-filled, family-friendly retreat, and we'd love to come back someday. Summary: The property lived up to the listing, and its location on Lake Hudson is wonderful. Our hosts provided everything we needed, even stopping by with a corkscrew when there wasn't one to be found! They let us check in early, and getting into the house was a breeze. We had a bachelorette weekend that was perfect in large part due to the comforts of the property. Be sure to get detailed directions before you start, since the Google machine can't seem to get it right. (Again, a demonstration of the immediate communication responsiveness from the property manager) Would most definitely rent this place again!
