Just four (4) miles from the Town of Wilkesboro, this home has easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Foothills Outdoor Adventures is less than 5 miles away, and they provide rentals for tubing, canoeing, paddleboarding, and pontoon boats. Situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this home has access to High Country attractions like the Blue Ridge Parkway (16 miles), Appalachian Ski Mountain (33 miles), and Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park (30 miles). It is also close to several fantastic wineries, like Raffaldini Vineyards and Winery (25 miles), Elkin Creek Vineyard and Winery (33 miles), and Shelton Vineyards (42 miles).
Located on Kerr Scott Lake, this waterfront home offers lake living at its finest. Fishing, swimming, and boating are all at your fingertips from the private boat dock and lake access. There are also kayaks available to our guests for adventuring around the lake. Enjoy the backyard wood-burning fire pit with Adirondack-style seating.
The covered porch wraps around the entire home, offering spacious outdoor living with beautiful lake views. There are comfy hammock chairs, a porch swing, Adirondack-style chairs throughout, and an outdoor dining area with a couple of picnic tables and a gas grill. On the lower-level covered patio, a hot tub overlooks the lake.
Inside this immaculate mountain elegant lodge are soaring vaulted ceilings with warm tongue-and-groove paneling and a wall of windows looking out over Kerr Scott Lake and at Grandfather Mountain and surrounding peaks. The living room has ample seating centered around a two-story, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with gas logs and a large HDTV. Adjacent to the living room is a well-appointed kitchen with updated stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. There is seating in the dining area for six (6) at the main table and bar seating for four (4) more, with additional seating on the covered porch.
The spacious master suite is located on the main level and has a king-size bed and a private bathroom with dual sinks, a jetted whirlpool tub, and a tiled walk-in shower. A second bedroom on the main level has a queen-size bed, private access to the covered porch, and a jack-and-jill full bathroom shared with the main living area. Upstairs, there is a loft with additional seating and flexible sleeping on futons.
The entertainment area on the lower level has a foosball table, a gas log stone fireplace, a bar area, and a comfy sectional sofa. There are also two bedrooms with king-size beds. Each has a private bathroom with a tub and shower. There is also a twin-over-twin bunk bed in the fifth sleeping area with a private half bath.
