From our family to yours, come make memories in this cozy lakefront retreat in the Gold Star community of Arrowhead lake, located in the Pocono Mountains. Wake up on the lake with gorgeous views in this cape cod style home with cathedral ceilings and rustic wood beam rafters, giving the home a mountain feel. Swim and fish right off of the home's private dock. The home is located in prime community location. The home is just a stone throw or swim, one home over, to the community beach [beach 4] and playground. Central location, with ease of access to the three heated community pools. This 3 bedroom home is with 2.5 baths and bonus playroom, which is set-up as an extra dual bedroom/playroom, is perfect for a family getaway. Home is complete with playroom, containing every board game imaginable, Dvds, and book collection. Games for kids, free WiFi, TVs are set up with Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. Deck with grill and a fire pit are set up for outdoor enjoyment, dining, and s'mores for days. Sleeps up to 12, which is perfect for one or more families. Paddle boat, kayaks, raft, swimming tubes, and some fishing gear available on the property for use and enjoyment of the property. Multiple amenities located within the community will keep everyone busy. Multiple tourist attractions located within driving distance.
This Gold Star, gated community offers 2 lakes, 4 beaches, 3 pools, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball, playgrounds, fitness center, outdoor pavilions/grilling areas, horse shoe pits, bocce area, shuffle board, boat/paddle board rental, and a spectacular community lodge. Grand lodge is complete with reception/entertainment area, outdoor eating area, gym, craft room, library, media room, billiards, and so much more. The main banquet hall features dramatic, floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, commercial grade kitchen, dance area, and spectacular view of the lake. The library has a media room with large screen tv, game room, and hardwood floors. Plenty of things to do nearby... at Camelbeach, Camelback, Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Kalahari, Knoebel's, Mt Airy Casino, the Crossings Outlets, charming village of Jim Thorpe, and Bushkill Falls [the Niagara of Pennsylvania]. Close whitewater rafting, tubing, golfing, paintball, minigolf, hiking, and skiing. Conveniently located minutes from 940,115, I-80, and the PA Turnpike.
No cats, may be willing to consider dog for extra. Linens and toilet paper are included. Bring your own towels. ****Arrowhead Lake is a gated community with 24 hour security. Renters are required by the association to pay a gate card fee of $15.00 PER CAR and a wristband fee of $35 PER PERSON per week age 6 and older. Community charges amenity fee from renters (6 years and older). Amenity wristbands are mandatory year around. As of 1/1/2020 Arrowhead Lake Community Association charges a $20 renter paperwork transaction fee to renters and a $25 late processing fee if paperwork is not submitted 3 days prior to arrival

Summary: The homeowner not only had the house fully stocked with pots and pans, coffee machine, linens, and fully furnished, but also had two kayaks, a peddleboat and a canoe all set up at the private dock for use. The lake did most of the work, but this place was great. We'll be back.

Summary: Our stay at the property was wonderful. The location, accommodations, and amenities were just as described. The rooms were actually larger than how they appeared in the photos. The kitchen was the best stocked in terms of having enough plates, glasses, pots/pans, etc. We used the grill several times, as well as the fire pit. The dock, water toys, and boats were all in excellent condition and the home's proximity to the pools, tennis courts, and beach made our stay active and enjoyable. Thank you, Krystal and Rob, for hosting us and being so responsive and helpful with our planning and questions throughout.

Summary: This listing was perfect for our family of 13 ages 2 to 77. The house is very well stocked. Everything you need including kitchen essentials and games and a canoe, kayaks, raft, paddle board , fire pit and a variety of tv channels! It’s located in a gated community so we all felt very safe. It is very clean. Krystal always responded promptly to my questions and was very sweet and helpful. We took walks, went to the beach which is steps away, and the community pool. The view from the dock is amazing. We caught many types of fish and watched bald eagles over the lake. We ordered from Dominic’s and went out for ice cream. This house was the perfect place to reconnect with our family!

Summary: The house was very clean and spacious. Access to the lake was the big plus and the owner provides paddle boats, kayaks etc. The community is also quite nice and has a very-well organized check-in process. The outdoor pools were heated and great for kids. Everyone in our party (9 people ages from 5 to 72) had a great time. Strongly recommend this property and we will visit again.

Summary: Such a peaceful and beautiful lake house! The view is perfect, it's cozy, clean and big enough for a large group. We had 6 woman and only used 2 of the bedrooms. Highly recommend!

Summary: This is our second time to rent the house. We love the house, lake view and the hosts. The house is spacious and has plenty of beds. The private deck to the lake is amazing. It was raining all the days this time until the day we leave. Rob is so nice to let us stay longer on the last day, we are much appreciated. We will come back again.
