Lakefront, Mt Morris, Wisconsin (Wautoma) Waushara County 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom Lake home with a beautiful sand beach on the 5 lake Mt. Morris chain, known for great fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing. Close to Nordic Mountain for winter fun too! It is always Five O'Clock! at our "Five O'Clock Somewhere" Lake house, come with your loved one, friends or family and enjoy some quality lake time. Our home is great any month of the year. It is a four season home. We have our own private sand beach, a great pier for fishing, we provide kayaks, paddle boards and a double kayak. You can also use our row boat to paddle around or paddle boat to have some floating fun! If you want to you can also rent larger boats in town. Our lake is one on the five lake chain known for great for fishing and swimming, if you cruise down the channel to the main lake there is a full recreation lake. You get the best of all worlds on the Mount Morris lake chain, 10am-5pm full rec is allowed on main lake then before and after those times no wake at all but extra fun for paddling and fishing.
We also have a swim raft to swim or fish from. In the fall and summer there are many local hiking and biking trails. In the winter we are less than a five minute drive to Nordic Mountain ski hill. We are also surrounded by great cross country ski trails and snowmobiling trails. In the spring there is something for everyone with local nurseries to pick your flowers to plant and enjoy beautiful foliage and trails. The Wautoma/Mt morris area is called “middle of nowhere” and that is why we like it! If you have anyquestions about our home please feel free to reach out! Summary: My Family stayed here and it is cute and will do the job of housing the family. Most of the inside was clean, but there were piles of swept debris at the door threshold like someone forgot to pick them up, back deck door hadnt been wiped down for weeks between the inside and outside, the patio screen was torn where you close it, so mosquitoes were able to enter. Much of the outside was not cleaned and looked like no one had been there in a couple weeks. The patio and table was covered with debris, and i understand storms and rain can do this, but it was excessive and dirty. The grill was also really dirty and we could not find any grilling tools to scrape it. I also was unable to get the paddle boat back to where we moved it from because there was so much water in it. I was forwarned there would be an extra charge if we didn’t put things back. I hope that doesnt happen. However lawn chairs were scattered so we collected them and dragged them to the sand area, and the double kayak was laying seat side up and had collected rain water. The #2 yellow stand up paddle board fills with water and sinks, has a crack in the front left side. Lake water was refreshing once you got past weedy beach, although there were no weeds by the pier ladder and in front of the pier. OLD goose poop covered the pier we cleaned was gross. Overall I was ok with the house, but if you are going to charge so much for cleaning, then be sure it is clean inside and out. Bring breakfast cookware and forks.

Summary: I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the rental. I had to do some cleaning before we even unpacked. I won't go into the whole thing but, it should've been spotless upon our arrival. I told the owner about the issues we had & they made it sound like it was our fault about the way we left the place on our departure according to the cleaning people.I don't really blame the owners but their cleaning service. They're getting paid to clean! I shouldn't have to clean a place I'm renting before we even stay there. They should be checking how the place looks before renters arrive to make sure it's the way it should be. After all it reflects on the owners. By the way, I always make sure when we leave a rental, it's pretty cleaned up.

Summary: Quiet cabin on a pretty lake. Sand beach was great for my granddaughter. Kakaks and paddle boat are nice. The cabin is not fancy and something's are older, but it is clean and comfortable for a family getaway. Good fishing from the pier as well.
