Summary: This was a very nice place to host our family and friends the week of Thanksgiving. The house was very clean and the linens were very nice. There was even a child's step stool and I saw a pack'n play. The kitchen certainly had everything we needed. There was a second oven and refrigerator downstairs which was great for cooking a Thanksgiving meal. The TVs, ping-pong table and foosball table were enjoyed by all. The owner was prompt with replies to any questions and very accommodating. The view of the lake was beautiful and someone caught a 3 pound striped bass! We highly recommend this home. We hope to return!!!

Summary: Our stay at this lake home was very enjoyable. The owner has thought of everything from Bed to Bath. If you want to stay in a very nice home on your vacation and not have to worry about anything this is the one for you!!! We have been going to smith mountain lake for the last 30 years best rental we have stayed in by far.

Summary: Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Brenda." The home had been recently remodeled and was very clean. All of the décor had been updated and gave you that true lake home vibe. The beds were comfortable and all of the linens and towels were of high quality. The kitchen was fully equipped and accommodated all of our meal prep needs. The kids (and adults) spent quite a bit of time on the ping pong and foosball tables. We also enjoyed S'mores by the lakeside fire pit. One of our favorite parts about the home was the infinity-like lake views from the main floor of the house. You have a nearly panoramic view of the lake from the inside that extends onto a large deck that was great for reading, dining or napping. The lake and dock were easily accessible, unlike some other houses we have stayed in the past. The nearest grocery store is 30 minutes away, however there are smaller convenience stores that are stocked with your basic needs. For those who enjoy going out to dinner, you can go to Mexico Viejo which is within 3-5 minutes of the house. The only inconvenience about the home is the fact that the trash must be collected and dumped into a dumpster about 10 mins away, which would not deter us...........we would definitely stay with "Brenda" again!

Summary: I booked this property with a little bit of trepidation not knowing what to expect - esp that we were 3 families and I was the planner. Believe me, it is absolutely gorgeous and the location is unbeatable. We didn't want to leave and everyone wanted to stay longer. Very well appointed, comfortable, roomy, and everything you think you'll need is already there (kitchen utensils, dishes, kayaks, etc.) The location is right on the water and we spent hours on the dock enjoying the weather. The sunset views are spectacular! Smith Mountain is a 10min drive where we went for a hike early in the morning on one of the days. The owner was very approachable and I was communicating with them like we'd been friends for awhile. Recommend it 1000% and we'll definitely be coming back.

Summary: It was such a pleasure to work with Ron. He made sure our experience was stress-free. We so appreciated the amount of effort and time put into the needs of the guests at this newly renovated, amazing property. He thought of everything from a crockpot in the kitchen, and puzzles in the media cabinet, to rafts and toys on the water. With the beautifully accurate marketing pictures and availability of this property, he built a strong relationship of trust and confidence. I can overwhelmingly recommend for our loved ones to stay here. We hope to stay again! ~DS

Summary: Beautiful and comfortable, newly remodeled home with a view from most rooms of the lake. Amazing dock with suspended chairs and 2 kayaks with a floating pad. We would love to return because of the relaxing decor, cleanliness and comfortable mattreses.
