Relax with the whole family! Private beach on Long Lake shared between 2 cottages. Kitchen features gas stove, microwave, full refrigerator, kitchen table, utensils, drip coffee maker & keurig, pots & pans, toaster and dishes to serve 8. Bedding, beach and bath towels provided for up to 8 guests. Full bathroom features shower/tub, toilet and sink. Cottage is heated and has 3 window AC units during warm months. Dining room table seats 6 but has 2 folding chairs in a closet to accommodate 8. Ludington is 20 miles away and Baldwin is 15 miles.

Summary: Host was excellent. Great communication and personal touches. Kitchen had everything we needed and in good working order. Great up north place to stay. View of the lake was very nice. The outdoor gathering areas had plenty of room for a group to relax and socialize.

Summary: Lack of Privacy / Undisclosed Adjacent Rental:The listing did not disclose that the cabin is immediately adjacent to a full-time rental property with shared yard space. We are in direct view of the neighbor’s front yard, and they have repeatedly observed and reported our activities, making it uncomfortable to relax and enjoy the property. The renters appear to be watching us at all hours, which has created an ongoing feeling of being monitored rather than on vacation. The listing stated the property was dog-friendly. We brought our calm, senior dog; however, due to the neighbor’s non-dog-friendly animal, we had to leash him at all times even tho he never left our side making it difficult for him to enjoy water activities. Kitchen was fully stocked and clean.I understand there may be ongoing tensions between neighboring properties, but I was not made aware of this before booking. Unfortunately, these tensions have affected our stay. For example, I witnessed a neighbor yelling at his own children for simply playing with mine, which was upsetting.

Summary: The beach was great the toys were great. I loved all the towels that were available and the coffee bar kept us alive. It fit 2 adults and out 5 kids. We tried visiting Lake Michigan but they said they best monthes to come for swimming is August. The piers were great.
