Summary: We came in Sunday for the eclipse Monday afternoon and stayed until Tuesday! We had an amazing stay at this home with no issues. The home was as advertised and met all our expectations. Would highly recommend this property.

Summary: The house was located in a great location with easy access to the ice. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. The house was a great place to stay and the owners were quick to respond. Would stay here again.

Summary: very nice location, clean cozy home with many amenities, close to the water, TV in every bed room, lots of outside area to walk, ride bikes and kayak. overall a fun place to get away.

Summary: My family really enjoyed our stay at Chaumont. The beds were very comfy and the view was spectacular. We loved kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing at the property. The neighbor was also super friendly and even shared some bait with us! The location had plenty to do as it is not from the 1000 island area, where we enjoyed Clayton’s boat tours and visiting Boldt castle. It was also nice that the owner provides 2 bikes as we were able to bike down the road to the local winery, which had beautiful grounds. While we did struggle with the limited water pressure in the house, the owner responded promptly and even offered to come take a look during our stay, so I’m sure JoDee will resolve it for future guests. Overall, we loved the area and had a blast.

Summary: Great location — right across the street from the lake, giving us a nice view when we were inside. Loved the kayaks and bikes. Good layout. Plenty of kitchen stuff — tho’ a blender would have been really nice to have. Could benefit from more fans or subdue ac units, as the bedrooms can get pretty warm. And shelving or a bureau or a table in the bedroom(s) would be a benefit. (It’s hard to live out of a suitcase for a week.) But closets helped. Plenty of towels, thanks !
