Summary: The house is perfect for family get away, the pond and the deer roaming the property is great, hopefully the internet will be improving with fiber being installed in the area. The private boat should be taken off the website, because guests can’t use it . The a/c should be upgraded to a larger unit as it couldn’t keep up during the heat of the day. Overall a great deal with a few improvements.

Summary: The only things that would have made the stay really wonderful would have been to have more bath towels in each bathroom. There were very few towels and no kitchen towels at all for clean up and very little toilet paper. We just happened to bring our own which was good or else we would have run out of toilet paper. Other than that the stay was fine.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The home offered plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside. The back room alone would sleep 10 and the private pond was well enjoyed. The home was VERY well furnished with anything you could need in the kitchen as well as recreational things such as movies, fishing pools/lures, and kayaks. Older kids enjoyed the pool table and darts. All parts of the home were clean. Know that the private boat ramp is not allowed to be used by guests, I misunderstood that with the listing and was very disappointed. However, Barefoot Marina was only a few minutes drive and was a good launch site for a $4 day pass and the children liked playing in their swim area. Host was very responsive. Overall fantastic stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a quiet place in E. Texas for some RnR and we found it. Great quiet neighborhood. Beautiful property with an unemcumbered view of Lake Bob Sandlin just across the street. The backyard had a large pond, fire pit, and property to explore. The house was well stocked and appointed. Pool table & darts in the garage and and a grill. We like grilling :) Fully ADA retroifitted from the huge roll in shower to the wide doorways and small ramps. This is a getaway spot everyone will enjoy.
