This is a 3 bedroom 1 bath lakehouse with a fully functional kitchen. Huge covered deck with a blackstone grill great for family’s, friends and or a romantic get away. Each bedroom has a smart TV with wireless internet as well. Private boat ramp for our neighborhood so if you have a boat feel free to bring it with you or rent a boat from Wax Marina just around the corner. There is a small beach area great for relaxing and letting the kids play in the water and or fish.
Our home is 20.4 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park where you can enjoy some of the worlds largest cave systems.

Summary: This lake house is gorgeous! I wanted my boyfriend to experience Bowling Green, KY and the caves. We both like staying in cabins instead of hotels, because it’s more peaceful and just overall more convenient for us. One convenience that I love is to be able to cook, which saves us money to do more activities. The kitchen was very clean and spacious, and just nicely renovated! The electric stove heats up fast (I’m used using a gas stove.) The house overall was updated and clean, and whoever did the decorating has an impressive sense of design! Another perk about this little lake house is, that they have smart TVs with cable and Netflix and Disney+, which we LOVE watching shows together. The WI-FI is stable and pretty fast, I didn’t use it much, but when I did use it, it was pretty good. The bed and the couch were very comfortable, the sheets were excellent and keep you cool if you get too hot. Even though we didn’t use the outdoor space, the deck was amazing! We were a bit bummed we couldn’t use the fire pit, since it was being constructed, but the view and the space is amazing! As far as the negatives go, we did go through a bit of a hiccup with accessing the house, but thankfully the owner was always quick to respond and very kind. The owner in general whenever we had any issues at all, they were extremely helpful and pleasant. A downside would be that the location is pretty far away from the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center, which is about an hour away. If you have a cave tour that you booked, you MUST be there 10 minutes prior, and they will NOT refund you! Honestly, I recommend 30-45 minutes prior for bathroom breaks/water/gathering info/etc. So, if you intend to explore caves, you’re looking at about an hour to 2 hours away from most cave activities (Horse Cave, Lost River, etc.) Although, if you want a getaway from the touristy parts and traffic, with a peaceful lake… this is a great spot for you! Also, we also had issues with our navigation system. My boyfriend uses Google Maps, and I use Apple’s maps on my iPhone. I’ve noticed that Google Maps tends to work better and doesn’t mess up as often, so I would recommend getting Google Maps if you don’t already. Cellphone reception can be spotty, so make sure to look at a map beforehand also! Doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. Overall, we loved our stay! We loved this house and the peaceful location. We would definitely stay here again & I’d recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!

Summary: We stayed here for several nights while visiting nearby caves. It was within an hour of everything, and so much more comfortable than any hotel we could have stayed at that would have been closer. We enjoyed our stay and would return if in the area again!

Summary: The owner was super great at checking in and very easy to work with. We stayed for a little over 10 days and he checked I. To make sure all was well. The bunk beds are super cute and the entire house is decorated really nice! Great stay! Oh! And the deck is AWESOME!

Summary: Home was clean and comfortable for 5 - 2 adults, 3 kids. Boys loved how close we were to water to fish and kayak. The covered deck was awesome. We ate every meal outside and spent an evening playing charades. Drew was a super great host. Answered questions promptly and offered suggestions in area for rainy day activities. About an hour to Mammoth Cave and Bowling Green. Lost River Cave was ok. Walmart and Walgreens about 25 minutes away for shopping. There are many standard fridge items available there. Didn’t think much about doing laundry while we were there but dang it was sooo handy. Did laundry every day. We brought own supplies and worked out perfectly. Can’t say enough good about Drew and his property. If you want a place out of hustle and bustle, great option.

Summary: Nice house short drive around the corner to the lake. Little hard to find to begin with the gps leads you down the road to the lake. Very nice up to date house will definitely be back to stay again!
