Summary: I was expecting a better area. I can appreciate the work put into decorating the interior of the cabins (cute), but from the outside I didn’t feel particularly safe to wander around. I assumed from the name it would have beach access or at least somewhere to enjoy a walk. I guess I should have done more research. I was just stopping in to sleep on a road-trip. For that it was fine.

Summary: I was able to upgrade from the Studio cabin to the upgraded cabin# #6, thanks to the 2 ladies at front desk, they are very friendly and helpful. Cabin is clean, beds are comfortable. Bring your own soap and shampoos. I was hoping to do some bank fishing while staying there but lake access is very limited and steep. So this location is great for retreat/ camping but not for fishermen.

Summary: The cabins are advertised as lake view. Only one has a lake view, the rest have a view of a row of trailers between the lake and the cabins, there’s a pipe frame shelve along the narrow and only access to the bathroom so anyone over 5 feet tall will walk into it in the dark as I hit my face on it. The advertisement said there was a cooking area but they had what looked like an Easy Bake Oven/toaster oven/ 2 cup coffee pot.

Summary: Cabin needs a reading light next to bed cause no tv , to read. Curtains didn’t fully close and people’s were always walking by, couldn’t dress in bedroom, had to go to bathroom

Summary: When we arrived, we were assigned a cabin without a stove but the manager quickly rectified it. However, we were only supplied a small saucepan and no cooking utensils. We did have dishes, an oven mitt, one mixing bowl, silverware, and mugs and cups. The shower had 2 settings: ice cold or scalding hot. Not a big deal for me but I was traveling with a toddler and she got burned as the water turned from cold to hot in an instant. There was a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the entrance door. This was of concern to me both for safety and because the cool air went right out it. The playground was poorly kept and the baby swing's buckle was broken. Not a huge deal for my toddler because she knows to hold on but a smaller or less playground experienced child would not be able to safely swing. The slide is from the 80's and got very hot during the day and is at a slope that rocketed my kid down at jet speed. She did hit her head the first time going down so I had to catch her every time after to avoid injury. No other amenities were open besides the horseshoe pit, which was not a good option to play for us. The path to walk and look at the lake was overgrown with poison oak so if you go down there, wear long pants. This is a no smoking or vaping property, period. I didn't know this and had to walk up to the entrance right by the busy road. I had a service animal with me and while I didn't have to pay the nightly price, I did have to pay a cleaning fee. Overall not great, but okay.

Summary: We stayed in the two bedroom unit, and the view was amazing. Needed a bit more updating, but there’s a new owner so hopefully that will happen soon.
