2 Bedroom Cabin in LaGrange, La Grange

Located on beautiful West Point Lake, welcome to your next escape. As you turn down the graveled driveway, relax and prepare for fun ,relaxation, beautiful sunsets. Retreat to our small cozy 2 bedroom cabin nestled in the pines with family or friends for days filled with activity on 26,000 acre West Point Lake, or for quiet, serenity on the deck overlooking the lake with your favorite book, your favorite drink, or both.
The cabin location, surrounded by Corp. of Engineers property, allows the utmost in privacy. Glass doors on the lake side of the cabin provide a great view of the lake through the pines. Two bedrooms are separated by a full bath. One bedroom with queen bed, one with two twin beds. Living room with sofa bed, flat screen TV,Blu ray, and internet access. Full kitchen with dishes, cookware, etc. New dishwasher. Coffee maker with auto shut-off. Washer, dryer provide convenient laundry self- service. Deck as well as picnic tables(2) and grill.
Walk a short path to the lake and enjoy. Fish from the dock or take your boat out for great fishing on the lake. Glass Bridge and Pyne Road Park boat ramps are only a few minutes drive away. Tie your boat up at our dock after a great day on the water. Private tennis court is on the property.

Dogs/pups are welcome. There is a one-time $25 fee per dog. . This excludes ADA Compliant Service Dogs. Two (2) dog limit. Please note only dogs are allowed (no cats or other pets).

Summary: Ok…here’s the deal. The place is kinda dated, there’s 3 or 4 different types of flooring, and the dock could use a little work. BUT… it absolutely works! It’s just a beautiful and very private little place that I hope they don’t change a thing on! It’s clean, cozy, and perfect! The tennis court that we used for pickle ball is another bonus! We love the little place and the owners are ridiculously responsive and easy to work with! Kudos for keeping it exactly what it is. A perfect little hidden gem!

Summary: This cabin is in a perfect location, close to everything LaGrange had to offer. We saw a concert at Sweetland Amphitheater which was only 10 minutes away. We also checked out Hills & Dales Estates, downtown LaGrange and the local winery, all within 15 minutes. Tom, the host, was wonderful to work with. He kept in touch about the trip and provided excellent check in and check out instructions. He was very kind and made the process easy. The cabin itself is secluded, which was nice. There was room to walk around the grounds with our dog and there was also a tennis court and basketball court that is on site. The walk to the lake is short, and the lake is beautiful. The cabin itself is older and some furniture and the carpet could use some upgrading in the near future. I also wish there was a TV in the main bedroom. There is a small, fenced dog pen off the kitchen which was nice for our dog to do her business off leash. If you are looking for high end luxury, this place probably would not suit you. If you're looking for privacy, convenience and a peaceful setting, book this place! We will be back!

Summary: We’ve stayed here multiple times while visiting family in Alabama. We love the lake and spending our nights outside playing Uno and most of all the beds are super comfortable. Our only complaint is having to leave.

Summary: My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The home was very cozy and the view of the lake was beautiful and very refreshing. You actually see the tv reflected in the mirror from the outside of the house at night. The house was back in the woods near the lake, the atmosphere was so peaceful. Tom was very helpful and accommodating in every way possible. He even offered us a late check out if we wanted or needed it. We got a lot of rest and went back home completely rejuvenated. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away for some quiet time.
