Best of both worlds. 4 season lakefront retreat boasting all nature has to offer and less than 5 minutes to the village of Haliburton. As beautiful as the lake name sounds, Kashagawigamog Kabin awaits you. New open concept lake front cabin with modern amenities. Central air conditioning, fridge, convection microwave oven and stove top, 3 piece bathroom, washer dryer, gas BBQ Parking available. One queen size bed and single pull out couch. Netflix and Wifi. Property beach and dock shared with owner.
We have a 12 foot aluminum fishing boat with 9.9 outboard motor for rent. The rental amount is $20 per day. This includes paddles, cushions, life jackets and gas. You will need your boating licence!

Summary: Beautiful property in the most magical location! Our stay was wonderful beginning to end and Brenda and a Dennis are amazing hosts! Even had two deer come greet us on the property while having lunch outdoors. Right on a beautiful lake with a dock to watch the mist and sunrise in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. Spacious and totally modern inside and has everything you need. Less than 5 minutes from centre of town with grocery stores and restaurants.

Summary: The property was very private and bright. We loved waking up in the morning and looking at the water and the antics of the animal life...the squirrel running after the chipmunk was hilarious. The property was very clean and the hosts thought of everything that one could possibly need. We would definitely book this place again...loved every minute of it.

Summary: Hosts Dennis and Brenda are amazing! We absolutely loved the relaxing time we had with great amenities such as the canoeing, sandy beach, BBQ and fire pit all in one place. Can't wait to come back!

Summary: Everything regarding trip surpassed a 10/10. Breathtaking lake view from cottage, peer and firepit. Swimming, stand-up paddling and canoeing was beyond fun and a great bonus. Beautiful modern cottage with several personal touches. Brenda was always quick to reply to any questions. Very kind and thoughtful hosts, leaving us a bottle of wine and smores etc! Also anything and everything needed was there and more. We had an incredible getaway! We definitely will be returning next summer!! Thanks Brenda! ☺ Cheers🍷🍷

Summary: Well furnished with great appliances. The sound system is amazing. Waterfront access is amazing. Property owners were very helpful and gave us our privacy. Personal opinion: bed was too soft and blanket was not comfortable. Could use more kitchen items (salt, pepper, etc…) and there is a lack of water equipment (maybe due to the time of year I came). Overall excellent experience. The owners know what is needed for a great cottage experience for couples. That sound system is just….incredible. Thank you to the owners!

Summary: A wonderful cabin on a beautiful bay. The property was clean and up to date with excellent furnishings and amenities. High ceilings and lots of large windows. The access to the water was fabulous. The owners were available and helpful. This was an excellent experience.

Summary: Lovely place to stay, nicely decorated and wonderful hosts. Felt like home! Location to Haliburton is close with lots to do/see/places to eat. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away without children! :)

Summary: I have to say, this place is a bargain! The interior is absolutely beautiful. Entirely modern with Sonos speakers inside and out. Smart TV. Smart locks and lights. An easy entrance and lockup process. Beautiful bathroom with plenty of clean linens. And everything we needed aside from our food was there for us — including cooking utensils, a grill, coffee and coffee maker. They even had a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and a s’mores kit awaiting us when we arrived. Though the property is “owner-occupied” in that the owner’s house is about a hundred yards behind the cottage, we felt we had total privacy and if we needed anything they were just a text away. Stay here if you’re looking for a quiet treat.
