We have been lucky enough to own thisv house since 2002 and we have recently decided to start making it available for holiday let.
The house and front garden have stunning views of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains. The lake is warm (25oC in the summer) and is very clear. You can waterski, sail, canoe, scuba dive, stand up paddle board, kite surf and wind surf on the lake. You can walk over to the lake and jump in!
The front garden has a hardwood table and chairs for up to ten people and has spectacular views of the lake and mountains. A charcoal barbecue is provided for outdoor cooking.
On the rear covered terrace there is a pool table and another dining table that can be used during a rare shower.
Inside the house there are four bedrooms, (a double, a twin and two singles) a bathroom with bath and large walk in shower and a well equipped kitchen.
The lounge has comfortable sofas at one end and a dining table for 8 at the other end. There is a smart TV with Netflix and Sky free view. Please note that there are no French TV channel subscription but some channels can be accessed via the internet. The house has fibre optic internet
The house has off road gated parking for four cars.
The house is positioned in a small hamlet at the quiet end of Lake Annecy in Haute Savoie Department.
The lake circumnavigating cycle path is just over the other side of the quiet D road. It takes about 50 minutes to cycle to Annecy (Venice of the Alps!) about 25 minutes in the car.
There is so much to do in the surrounding areas, via ferrata climbing, some of the best paragliding in Europe (tandems available), rope courses, canyoning, summer luges, trekking, hot air ballooning the list is endless.
The garden at the rear is sloping and has two terraces. The first has access to the under cover terrace with dining and pool table and relaxed seating and the top terrace has beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
The house is also close to a restaurant which has many culinary delights, including fish from the lake and locally sourced meat.

Summary: After many years camping in Annecy I dreamt of a property with a lake view one day and this year was it. The home was everything I dreamt of and more. My favourite spot at the beginning and the end of the day was the hanging chairs under the trees overlooking beautiful, breathtaking Lake Annecy. Sat high above the road so the view is uninterrupted under the twinkling tree lights at night and watching the paddle boarders and fishermen by morning was food for the soul. The house was a perfect size for two of us adults and the teens. The back patio, front table and inside dining table provided plenty of choice for all of us to eat and gather together for game nights. I love to cook and the kitchen was fully equipped for all food choices. A large fridge, held everything we needed and plenty of cupboard space. All the utensils you need. Decorated very comfortably and the master bedroom with its balcony and again views of my beautiful lake were just perfect. If you want to have your cake and eat it in terms of a lake view at a price that won’t make your eyes water then this is your property. Communication with Adam the owner was virtually instantaneous and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and cannot wait to do so. Thank you for extending your beautiful home and helping us make some precious memories. One very, very happy stay ☺️

Summary: Location as advertised with very nice nautical theme. We really enjoyed the beautiful garden in the front overlooking the lake. Comfortable stay for our family and the owners were timely in their responses and in their support. Very close to Doussard Plage which has great options for wakeboard and/or boat rentals. Nice little restaurant and friendly market near Doussard as well. Very easy to also simply walk across the street from the property and enter the lake at the nearby beach. A beautiful part of Annecy lake!

Summary: We had a lovely week staying at Lake Annecy in this house. The views from the house are amazing, and you have easy access to the lake. There was plenty of room in the house for us, and there was everything you needed. It was a very comfortable house to stay in. It’s also well located to explore both the local area, and further afield.

Summary: The house is on the lake as described. Right next door is a really good restaurant, too. There is a main bathroom downstairs but a small toilet and sink upstairs on the level of the bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the living room is very comfy with a smart-tv. The owner was very response and helpful. It is an older home with lots of character and in a less touristy part of the lake.

Summary: Our family comprising two adults and four teenagers enjoyed the stay in this charming house very much. Although there is a noisy street between the property and the lake, the location is fantastic. You can walk across the street (a bit to the right where there is a step) and hop into the lake or you can walk about 300 meters to the left to a small public beach and jump into the water there. Being able to take a swim whenever you want, makes this house so great. The house itself is well-equipped (e.g. sufficicent tableware, glasses, cutlery, pans, and pots), has four bedrooms (one double bed, two single beds and two rooms with each one bed. From two of the rooms you have a spectacular view onto the lake. There is one modern bathroom with a shower and a bath and two separate toilets. The house strikes a good balance betwween its original character and modern (bathroom) and high-quality appliances (e.g. kitchen). The front garden has a table under two trees from which you overlook the lake while being in the shade. People or cars passing by cannot see you much in the garden because the property is elevated and thus higher than the street level. If you do not like the noise of the street, you can go to the garden behind the house where it is quiet and where there are a pool table, tables and chairs under a roof. The nearest grocery store is a Carrefour Contact in Doussard (8 minute ride by car). There you can also find a bakery, pharmacy, a hairdresser, and other stores. The communication with the owners (Adam & Sigrin) was easy and cheerful. Both replied to questions very quickly. If it were not for the street between the property and the lake, we would have rated this property with five stars.

Summary: We spent wonderful holidays in this lovely house. The house is placed right at the lake, very convenient for all water sports, there is also a bike path next to the house. It is very well equipped, beds were comfortable, kitchen had all the necessary utensils, nice and clean towels etc. The house has large living room, 2 large bedrooms, 2 small ones, 2 toilets and one bathroom so it is very comfortable for 6 people. Wonderful views! The back terrace with the pool table was very convenient when the traffic on the road was high, as it was much calmer and warmer on windy days. There are plenty of activities in the area (water sports, canyoning, paragliding) as well as restaurants and shops. We recommend this place and we hope to come back!

Summary: Cosy, comfortable family house at the lake that we loved at first sight. Great place to be and an excellent starting point for all sorts of activities in the area. Spacious bedrooms, modern bathroom, lovely kitchen that invites you to prepare a family meal to enjoy in the garden with astounding view of the lake. We came to swim, paddle board, cruise the lake (hired the no permit motorboat at Doussard Plage) and see the area, and we did! And the Kids loved Netflix, too, in the comfortable living room. When powered out, we walked over to Patrick in his excellent restaurant next door to enjoy their cuisine. Adam and Sigrin were ever so helpful from the moment we booked and they promptly responded to questions we had before and during our holidays. Top Class experience!
