Summary: Being placed in the room next to the old and noisy ice machine really seemed unnecessary since the hotel was not full. It’s an old hotel with a great location it getting luggage to your room is a challenge.

Summary: Very nice antique hotel from the 1880’s. It’s really charming and in a central location to downtown. Easy to find restaurants, and the morning breakfast was really good and not crazy expensive.

Summary: We got a suite with a sitting room. While the bedroom was lovely, the sitting room was small and dark and only had a sad little old twin size fold out sofa thing plus a couple hard side chairs. A proper sofa and lounge chair would have been a better choice.

Summary: Mount Dora, a place that steals your heart. What a historic and special place, with large moss-draped oak trees and acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and to top it off, the mesmerizing Lakeside Inn build in 1883, What a timeless setting, a place where you feel like you are in the movies stepping back in time, the oldest continuously operating hotel in the state of Florida and the last of the grand victorian era hotels still remaining in Central Florida. Thank you for the beauty and the peace we found in you! The memories we made there are unforgettable and we will cherish them forever.
