Positive: The cabin as a whole was larger than expected with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, with a tub that my wife adored. If the weather had been more favourable we could have enjoyed the views from the patio. Bed was very comfy . Kitchen area all functioned correctly as I made my wife a meal for her birthday whilst there. 3 mins from Marwell zoo which was part of the weekend and close to all the amenities you could need. We are less than 20 miles away and can see us using again. A nicely updated guidebook was both sent in advance and available in the cabin. We tried most of the games that are there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Negative: The turning for the farm has little to no signage and a blind bend to the left when leaving. But it is stated for privacy.

Summary: Weekend away with one of the nicest bases we have ever had. Lots of information made available

Positive: Lovely setting, very relaxing Super soft towels, huge bath and comfy bed. Ideal to explore the solent and Winchester. Ideal for catching our breath after a cruise.

Positive: Fantastic lodge in a beautiful rural location. There’s not a thing that the owner hasn’t thought of to make the stay comfortable.

Negative: Due to the location of the lodge and warm weather there are a lot of flies and wasps around, which got everywhere if u opened the windows/doors for a split second never mind if you wanted them open all the time. I’d recommend having fly and wasp spray in the lodge for guests to use if they wish.

Negative: The only thing missing was some sun loungers as the weather was amazing.
