Summary: Right on the water's edge, with waves washing up under the house and a wonderful deck overlooking the water, this comfortable, well-equipped and spacious house is all about the lake. Bring kayaks & flotation devices -- house does not provide. Shore is rocky and swimming is better at the very nice Long Point State Park up the road. Ithaca has great attractions and this was our daily destination. Walking along Honoco Road is an interesting way to experience this unique shoreline community.

Summary: Loved that it was close to the water, dock and small beachy area. Not a lot of steps to go up and down. As we were an older group this was helpful. When they say the road the house is located on is 10 mph believe them. It is a private road and maintained by homeowners so is not fully paved and smooth. Drivers are very courteous and lots of places to pull over to pass. Just factor that in to your driving time Kitchen was very well stocked. Master bedroom mattress was very hard for our liking so I slept on the sofa. The porch was amazing. It had not been cleaned when we arrived so the furniture and railings needed a good sweeping which I did. I did call and they did offer to send someone the next day to clean but I opted to do myself so we could use right away. Plenty of living space to watch movies, play games and cards. Would stay again

Summary: Good: on the lake. Old and dated but good interior. Very peaceful. Large master and bath. Kitchen very well equipped. Bad: very small guest bathroom. No exterior cleaning performed. Lots of cobwebs on all the chairs and elsewhere. Ugly: mostly unpaved, extremely narrow, single lane in and out with a10mph restriction. Very hard to turn the car around, especially if in an suv. No shampoo in either bathroom! The guests have to guess this is the case and stop by a store to pick some up.

Summary: Rented this house for a weekend getaway and it was everything we needed. Ten steps from Cayuga lake and amazing fishing. House was very clean and well equipped. Was surprised to find they left goodie bags for our dogs with treats and a toy, which the pups enjoyed very much. Just wish we were able to stay longer. We will be back!

Summary: This was our first (but not last) experience with this property. The pictures do not do it justice, that's how good it is! Extremely well maintained all the way around and literally on the water. The only drawbacks are there is no real lawn to walk your pet if you have a dog, and that the property is tedious to get to (15 min at 10 mph) once you are on the private road, but once you are there it was worth it :) We will certainly stay here again!

Summary: This property is appropriately named. It was very peaceful to watch the sunset over the lake each night. Loved the very open floor plan and outstanding master bedroom with view of the lake.
