Negative: House was perfect and same with location. If I HAD to choose something we didn't like it would be the access down to the house but we didn't mind

Positive: The location was excellent and the lake was a great temperature to swim in. The openness of the house was perfect and the area in front for some games for the children was perfect. The weather helped.
Negative: Nothing generally we didn't like but some things require attention. Light in upstairs room not going. Dishwasher not draining 100%. Broom behind locked door. No plug for sink. Main shower leaks from sides and puddles on floor. Poor install of shower unit. Health and Safety issues. The deck is dangerous to walk on with bits sticking up where people have tripped and cut their feet/toes. Cobbles stones laid out back of deck and into sleepout are uneven and dangerous especially in the evening. May as well remove them or get them installed properly.

Negative: This is a three bedroom house at best. We booked a five bedroom. The “fourth bedroom” is external and upstairs which aren’t accessible on a frosty winter morning. The “fifth bedroom” is worse than a dog kennel. It stunk of black mould and wasn’t usable. And had a heater in front of the door so no exit in a fire. Our visitors with us from oversea refused to sleep in it as it was in such an appalling state
Summary: Would not recommend this property. Photos are misleading as show from upstairs which isn’t part of the property. Worst p

Positive: Wonderful location. Loved sitting on the deck and looking over the lake. The cycle track is great fun and makes for a great trip into town. Close to bowling and pizza pub. Close to airport. We had a fantastic family holiday.

Positive: The location is great - looking out at the lake was just beautiful and the view is the property’s best feature. Great layout of bedrooms for family of three couples. Responsive to our concerns about the toilet that was in urgent need of repair.
Negative: The unclean musty smell on opening the door the first time, the filthy stained carpets in the bedrooms, the even dirtier cushion covers on the wicker chairs, the lack of body wash provided in the shower, the shortage of basic things in the kitchen like a garlic crusher, anything to squeeze lemons with, or a coffee grinder. Opening the oven to a roasting dish with grease and crumbs was not great either.

Negative: Cleanliness was really bad. I had read some previous poor reviews and assumed given it was a known problem it would be better for us but it wasn't and I had to vacuum and wipe tables off there were cobwebs everywhere.

Negative: indoor rattan seats moldy cushions, oven only worked on super hot so beef we cooked totally overcooked, hot water not available upstairs, outdoor mats for wiping feet dilapidated, does the fan work in the bigger bathroom? A drier would have been very handy after thermal pools to dry towels & after trekking in the rain. The pillows were very soft which isn't to our liking & only 2 per couple, perhaps a pillow choice would help. (ie one of each?) Although I contacted booking.com re hot water there was no response until the day we left

Negative: Not very clean. Cobwebs everywhere and needed a good dusting and vacuum. Confusing upstairs with only having access to 1 room not the full balcony. This wasn’t made clear in the booking process. Sleep out room stunk and was unusable.
