Positive: Location was much closer to Pinehurst golf course than I had anticipated. Host was excellent. This was a well stocked, clean and comfortable rental. Enjoyed the lake view, the peace of the water and the kitchen.
Negative: There was no nice pool as shown in the photos, no lake access, no boats, or kayaks available. But it was still beautiful. I was truly wanting that pool for exercise and pleasure.
Summary: All in all was beautiful, clean, cozy and most of all well stocked for the kitchen and bedding.

Positive: Apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. Beds and bathroom were clean - plenty of bathroom and pool towels. Swimming pool was great and empty - so we had it to ourselves. Great view of the lake and loved watching the turtles whilst on the balcony really quiet area - felt like we were the only ones there.
Negative: Kitchen cupboards need a good clean - lots of out dated food left over. Plates and glasses all needed a quick clean before use. Instructions on how to lock the front door would have been helpful as we realised 2 days into our stay that we had not been locking the front door (electronic keypad). I had emailed the Company that hire the apartment days before our arrival to check if it had a hairdryer but no response (it has got a hairdryer). On arrival we had not been left a key fob to enter the swimming pool - this time the host company did reply straight away and a few phone calls were exchanged but they failed to get us a key fob for the duration of our stay and we had to climb the fence to enter the pool.
Summary: Would definitely stay again despite the couple of issues we had.
