Nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, surrounded by dogwood forests, with hilly terrain and beautiful foliage year-round, this lovely lakeview cottage is cozy, charming, and perfect for anyone wishing to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the quiet outdoors. With easy access to beautiful Lake Tenkiller (4-minute walk or 1-minute drive) this property is ideally suited for fishing, boating, hiking, or just “getting away from it all.”
The view of the lake from the front porch is breath-taking, and especially enjoyable while relaxing there with a cup of coffee in the early morning, taking in all the sounds of the surrounding birds and watching the early fisherman get their start on the day in the lake. In the evening you can make use of the barbecue grill right off the porch and enjoy a nice dinner at the picnic table on the front lawn overlooking the lake.

Summary: We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful cabin. The front porch has a magnificent view of Lake Tenkiller. It is positioned on a hilltop surrounded by woods. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We had everything we needed. The peace and quiet was so relaxing. But an added bonus is how centrally located Park Hill is to several other Oklahoma state parks. We used this cabin as our home base and hiked at all these parks during our stay: TenKiller, Cherokee Landing, Greenleaf, Sequoyah, Sequoyah Bay, Natural Falls, and Fort Gibson. This is a perfect place for hikers to hit as many trails as possible. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

Summary: This was a perfect place to get away and unwind on a 'working vacation'. I needed some peace and quiet and wanted to enjoy some scenery at the same time. I got more than I had expected! The views of the lake and surrounding area was like living in a postcard. I had bald eagles and deer stopping by almost daily. At night all of the sounds of nature just melted stress away. The cabin is very spacious and laid out perfectly. Everything a person could need is there and more. The kitchen has everything a person or family could need. The living room was comfortable and would be a great place for folks to relax and visit. The bedroom and bath exceeded what you would find in any luxury hotel. The host was very gracious and made my first VRBO an effortless experience. Everything was made clear up front and the property absolutely met all of my expectations. I will be back!
