Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay and Sandy was there to help when needed. Better lighting and shower in the bathroom would be a big improvement. Over all super.

Summary: It's a perfect spot if you like to walk a bit. We walked to the Wednesday market in Manitou Park, lunch at the bistro at Serendipity Winery, breakfast at the Grape Leaf and tapas at the Naramata Heritage Inn. We also drove to several nearby wineries for tastings. All very worthwhile.

Summary: This is the second time I have stayed at one of Sandy's cottages. To be honest - I didn't even research a different place to stay in Naramata this trip, as I knew I wanted to head back to this gem. I love the location of the cottages. The view is absolutely breathtaking!!!! It's amazing to have breakfast on the patio and look out at the water! I also love how close it is to everything - the beach, the wineries, etc. I appreciate the fact that the cottage has a kitchen with cooking supplies, so that if you want - you can make some meals at home rather than always eating out! And Sandy provided her local honey - it was fantastic! I also really enjoyed the living room area. The couch was super comfy, and there were books and games provided. I also have to say - the check-in process at this place is amazing!!!! It's a key pad, and so you can arrive and enter on your own!!! Super easy to use and convenient. Sandy was also amazing at communications and very helpful. Awesome host! I can barely critique this place, as it was so awesome. If I had to say one thing that could be improved, it would be the bed and blanket situation. I am used to a firmer mattress, and a lighter blanket. But having said that, I was still able to sleep well. Beds are quite a personal thing. If you've ever wanted to see what heaven looks like - this is the place! You are literally surrounded by fruit trees, wineries and lavender! It is amazing! Thank you Sandy for the wonderful stay! It was a piece of paradise! You are a wonderful host! :)

Summary: Place is perfect - IF - you prioritize peace & quiet - having your own space, not having people you don't know on top of you - like simplicity, well appointed w/ everything one needs 2b comfortable w/out frou frou - and of course, a great view w/ good host Only downside, for some not us, is lack of air conditioning. Temps got up to +30 but we were fine. We both grew up w/out AC but now have it at home, so, experienced both & didn't miss AC here. Fans worked fine & cottage is shaded & cool to begin with. Short, >10 min walk to village but short steep climb coming home. You want a view, you get a climb. Not bad at all for us, but if one has mobility issues or can only handle flat ground you'll want a place down the hill. The cottage is one room, one bed only. No setting up a cot for the kids or guests. This is only for a couple or someone traveling solo, which was perfect for us. This is s rare find in Narmata, your own, separate, one bedroom cottage with a view. For us, it was prefect coffee on deck looking at lake in morning, walk to town for dip in lake or lunch, wine on deck watching sunset in evening without loud "other guests" or someone's ankle biters running around or the owners in the suite above or below you. Having your own place that's not a 3 or four bedroom house, and priced accordingly, and has a good view and is walkable to town, is quiet..and you can reach off the deck to pick a peach....yeah, I didn't want to write this review so I could keep this place to myself, lol.

Summary: Oh my gosh, what an amazing anniversary getaway! Sandy was a perfect host, quick to respond to my questions and very accommodating. Her cottage is so sweet, very private and the lake view, sunsets and star gazing from the deck are absolutely mesmorizing🌅 Add the fact that it is within walking distance to the local beach, coffee shop and grocery store (the uphill back to cottage is a tad steep ~ but no worries it’s short😉) plus a couple local wineries and you’ll be finding yourself just like us….not wanting to leave!!
