Summary: There were roaches in the room, windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time and screens were popping out. Outlets were blocked/not working, and the room and property in general were neglected. We understood the owner is trying to make improvements, however, and we certainly with them luck.

Summary: The owner is very kind and responsive. The place is clean, spacious, affordable and comfortable. It’s conveniently located near the white-water rafting area, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. Highly recommended!!

Summary: Despite the "nostalgic" ambiance of this motel property, there were so many basic upgrades needed, it would be impossible to list them all. I will first note that the toilet tank took a very long time to fill up after a single flush. The parking lot was well lit, however the bright lights made it difficult to sleep as there were no "black out" curtains on the windows. There was something resembling a smoke detector above the door (inside our room) that would emit a very bright flash of light every 30 seconds! The carpet was extremely stained and should be the first thing that gets replaced... a vinyl floor would be a big improvement. The mini-fridge was just "ok" but the freezer compartment was covered in frost so thick we could barely fit 2 ice packs in there. The fridge door shelves had broken guards, so it could not hold our yogurt or soda cans there. We had to prop a gallon jug of water in front of the fridge door to keep it closed. Need I go on . . . ?

Summary: Fairly nice and casual place for a low rate but a very outdated look of fake wood paneling in the room. Parking is right at your door so very convenient and a park bench is there too so great for reorganizing. The Lakeview is off to the side but it is just across the street if you want to go down there on dusty roads. There are nicer places on the lake to go picnic further along and on the west side. My favorite Mexican place went out of business so was hard to find food near. This is a little family run motel so expect that vibe and enjoy the laid-back moments

Summary: The motel has a kichenette, but no silverware or dishes. So bring your own if you plan on eating in your room.
