You can’t get much closer to Lake Tahoe in this 3 bedroom 2 bath condo with stunning lake views right from your 6th floor balcony. This condo is located in a private, gated development right on the water with a half mile of lakefront. You will not be disappointed taking your next Lake Tahoe vacation to this Kings Beach vacation rental. Enjoy the fine amenities on this property such as the pool heated by a natural hot spring, tennis courts, sauna, fitness room, and a dock.
From this North Shore location you are within walking distance to downtown Kings Beach for dining and entertainment. For the little ones, there is a park located right down the street at the Kings Beach State Recreation Park which also has a nice sandy beach to relax or play in the crystal blue tahoe water. Or take a drive, approximately 7-17 miles, to one of the three famous ski resorts in Tahoe that offer an abundance of summer and winter activities.
This condo is located on the 6th floor of the building and has an open floor plan that allows you to enjoy the conversation with all the guests even while preparing meals. When it's time to eat, gather at the six-person dining table. Or fire up the BBQ and eat at the four-person balcony table amid stunning lake and mountain views. Just off the living room is the master bedroom with a queen bed, and a sliding glass door to the balcony, the perfect spot to enjoy a nice morning cup of coffee and take in the fresh Tahoe air. On the opposite side of the condo, there are two guest bedrooms. The first has two twin beds, while the second features a queen bed and partial lake views. All together this Lake Tahoe cabin will sleep up to 6 adults.

This condo is in a prime location with a lot to offer in very close proximity. On a warm summer day some may want to head to the resorts (7-17 miles away) and fill their day with activities, while others may want to relax and soak up some sun on the beautiful sandy beaches located just a few minutes away. You may choose to grab a latte and breakfast at the charming Old Post Office Coffee Shop, or other breakfast spots located just minutes from the condo. For a night out, explore the many other restaurants or travel 1 miles to Crystal Bay in Nevada for cocktails and games of chance.
Parking: Parking is available for 2 cars total. All cars must park in the parking lot. No street parking per county ordinance

* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 6 adults

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and view are everything here. Brockway is a fantastic lake side property with good facilities and lake access. The unit needs an update. Beds are all small and uncomfortable. Unit is minimally supplied. No air conditioning. 10am check out/ 4pm check in. If decor/furniture etc are not important to you - this place will work. Brockway has a lot of charm and the view and location are unbeatable.

The view, proximity to the lake, pool area and location were awesome! Communication with the host was super quick and easy. Since we were there on a very hot, holiday weekend, parking and having no air conditioning was slightly challenging. The condo itself was super spacious and comfortable but it could use some refreshing and modernization. The rental price was very high because of the holiday weekend and fees but worth it considering we booked last minute. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: The unit itself is a little dated and could use some updates (fresh paint, some more kitchen items, etc.) but the community is lovely and the views of the lake from the condo are great. Access to dock, pool, etc. are really what made our stay great. Check-in information could have been more thorough, but we stopped at the rental office at the front to get through the gate when we first arrived.

Summary: Originally, I was going to rate this home a 4; however, I increased the rate to 5 because VACASA was very helpful in allowing us to stay and wait for the snow to be removed from the parking lot as well as from the roadways. They were also working on finding a solution for us if we needed to stay another night. The reason for the 4 rating was because the home needs some updating and TLC (painting, finish work on baseboards, bathrooms, carpet is stained - kind of old feeling). The kitchen is very well appointed, and they have great wine glasses - a great plus when one is a bit of a wine snob. I've stayed at Brockway Springs 5 times now and I'm not confident I would stay in the tower condos again. We basically had to stand up to see the lake view.
