Positive: Everything was lovely. The Lodge is super comfortable, and the view was amazing!!! Was easy to find and "check in" and "out". Lovely countryside and hadrians wall walk nearby. Will definitely come back.

Positive: The lodge had all the facilities needed, it was a quite site with stunning views. It was within easy reach of main towns and points of interest. The owner was very responsive and offered a great service.

Negative: Perhaps a hard copy of the manual on how to operate the shower and also the hot water. Even small labels above switches would have helped as all mains were off when we arrived but we worked it out in the end.

Summary: Our stay at the lodge really helped with de-stressing, nice quite site with stunning views.

Positive: Great location in the north Cumbria countryside. Quiet and peaceful with fantastic views. Not far from Brampton, Carlisle and Hadrian's wall. Friendly welcome on arrival. Lodge was warm and cosy.

Negative: TV reception wasn't the best (but we weren't there to watch telly)

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Lanercost lodges, and look forward to staying again in the future
