Negative: Could here music/singing in pub and I like early night but it’s a pub so it’s expected another guest few doors down couldn’t hear it so depends on the room

Positive: Well located. Huge room. Staff were great. Free breakfast. Great value

Negative: Loved the big Room but it was at the front over the road and could have done with blackout curtains as street lights made the room light at night and east facing so sun lite up the room early morning. Plumbing in the shower was a bit of an issue as tray filled up and took ages to drain.

Summary: Short stay to visit friends. Lovely country hotel. Well located. Friendly staff.

Positive: Good breakfast plenty of choice.

Negative: The room was disappointing,it was nothing like the photographs. We thought we were given a room which had not been updated although the hotel didn't seem to be full. It was room 202. The wallpaper was hanging off and there were cracks in the ceiling. The bathroom had been modernised .
