Summary: We rented this unit for our trip to the Creation museam and Ark Encounter. Great affordable price, excellent price. I had received the email with our "keys" a few days before our trip. But sometime during our 8 hour trip to get there I opened the email to find out there was no information attached. Very scary when your travel weary and everyone is looking forward to uploading and relaxing. I emailed the contact and did hear back with instructions in a reasonable time. But what if I only opened the email when we pulled up? And the whole tired van would have had to sit and wait? The instructions should have been included right away. The apartment was clean. The bathroom is small and there were not enough towels for our party. We had a party of 6 but we only had 4 bath towels and 2 hand towels. So as a result there were no hand towels to hang by sink. Kitchen was very disappointing, as it was very I'll equipped. Don't plan to cook there. No towels, only 1 dirty washcloth, no pot holders, minimal cooking essentials. We had 2 pizzas to bake but only small cookie sheet available and no way to get hot stiff out of oven. Us women, we always find a way but would have been nice to have kitchen stocked better. After all the reason we choose this apartment over a hotel was to use the kitchen. Also, the television could not hook to wifi and having a 5 year boy along we missed being able to have him watch his shows. We stayed 2 nights and did not see any cockroaches. Only a dead ant on bathroom floor. Overall we would stay again but we would come more prepared for I'll stocked kitchen.

Summary: We were there for an extended stay. As previous reviews, yes there were some roaches. Not All over the place as one said but sporadic. There would be days when you did not see any and others every day for three days straight. What bothered us more and the most was the kid constantly running up and down the apartment above us. This was cause of many sleepless nights. Sometimes nothing for a day then continuous for days. Otherwise, the neighborhood was quiet, neighbors were friendly and easy to get along with. The apartment itself was what it says. It would have been nice to have easier access to the laundry room though.

Summary: This is a walkout basement level apartment. I stayed here with my wife, 3 children, and our pets. Positive: There is a Kroger within walking distance, and many other restaurants, stores, etc. Parking is right outside the unit’s door, which makes loading/unloading much easier. The TV in the living room was large and had an outstanding picture. It is nice to have a microwave, oven, and stove so we could cook some meals in and not spend as much on dining out during our stay. Disappointing: I had to ask the host for check in instructions the day before our arrival and the day of our arrival. There were not enough towels and linens for 5 people, so we had to go and purchase a couple of extra towels from the Dollar store in the neighborhood so we had enough for our stay. Some of the furnishings in the unit did show some wear and tear as one of the kitchen chairs was a little loose and it appeared the bed frame in one of the bedrooms had been reinforced with wood. There are other apartments in the unit, and whoever occupied the apartment above this unit had a kid running up and down all hours of the night, making a considerable amount of noise when we were trying to sleep. (I do realize this is not the host’s fault.). The most disappointing problem with this place was, as others had mentioned in reviews, there is a problem with German Cockroaches in the unit. It appeared that the owner is trying to do something about it, but we did find roaches on occasion in the unit. We did learn that this is a common issue in the Cincinnati area, so rather than ask for a refund and move to another hotel and risk having more issues elsewhere, we decided to stick it out since we only stayed in the unit at night. Overall, it wasn’t the worst stay we’ve ever had, but it also wasn’t the best, and I was admittedly disappointed in some areas, while satisfied with others regarding this stay. If we were to visit the Cincinnati area again, my family will probably choose to stay elsewhere. This place has some potential, if some more attention to detail were present and the cockroach problem was taken care of once and for all.

Summary: I booked this apartment for a friend, my boyfriend and myself before a football game in the city. The plan was to drive up late, stay the night, then Uber to the game in the morning. When we walked into the apartment, it was sort of dingy— like the living room furniture was a little dirty and old/cheap looking, but for the price we didn’t really mind and it was more aesthetic. We really just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. Within 5 minutes of being in this apartment, however, we realized that there were roaches… EVERYWHERE. Living room floor/walls, kitchen floor/counter (CRAWLING ON THE PAPER TOWEL ROLL ON THE COUNTER), the bathroom, and coming out of the carpet in the bedroom. We grabbed our stuff and got a hotel as quick as possible. I messaged the property manager and he immediately refunded me, thankfully. He was quick to respond and apologetic, which is why this has more than one star. If the property gets fumigated (which it hopefully will after this incident), it really didn’t seem like a bad place to be if you’re not looking for anything fancy, and the property manager was friendly, quick to reply and helpful when I reached out. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but if I would have seen one like this before booking, I would have likely just gotten a hotel to begin with.

Summary: The pictures on the listing look great but that’s not what you get. There was nothing there to clean anything with, not enough towels (I bought our own after seeing the place), barely any hot water, and there were roaches! I kept all of our stuff off the floor and just tried to make it through the weekend. The place is so cheap because you get what you pay for.
