Positive: Property was warm & comfortable.

Negative: Property is starting to need refurbishment. The paint on the bathroom walls was flaking and peeling away. The top of the bathroom window frame had mold. (The bathroom sink leaked, and was reported at the time) along with other water leaks from the boiler and pipework on the ground floor. Using the dishwasher resulted in no power in the property, as it tripped a fuse. It was difficult to remove the rubber bath plug, as no chain to was attached to remove it.

Summary: If property had resources spent on it, painting & decorating etc, it would make it so much better.

Positive: Good location , felt like a family home. A bit ‘tired’ around tge edges but perfectly adequate for our 2 night stay

Negative: Parking a bit tricky. There’s space directly in front of the house for one car. There’s potential for parking another car on the side , however as it’s a shared drive with the neighbouring property access for them into their garage has to be taken into account. It’s at the top of a small cul de sac and parking is an issue for all the properties. We had 2 cars and managed to park both but potentially as the property sleeps 8 more than 2 cars could prove problematic

Negative: Entry through the back door due to the front door being broken. There was no path, so had to walk through a narrow gate over wet, muddy grass in the dark. There was no information left for us. The property, while it served its purpose for two nights, lacked character and the facilities were very basic. The bathroom was in need of some attention with the paint peeling off the wall and ventilation poor.
