5 Bedroom House in Roussillon

Ideally located with a breathtaking view of the Vaucluse mountains, the house is 15 minutes walk from the village of Roussillon. Constructed on one level, the front door opens onto a large living room with a fireplace and a dining room. The glass doors give access to a pretty shaded terrace with a round table, pleasant for lunch. On the right is the master bedroom with a spacious shower room, two sinks, a dressing room and an independent WC. The glass doors of the room also give onto the terrace.
On the left, an office to isolate oneself to work there.
Right, a large corridor that serves the kitchen, a back kitchen and the 4 bedrooms. 3 rooms share a room of shower with a washbowl and an independent TOILET. All have access to a terrace at the back with a nice view. And the 5th bedroom has its own bathroom with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.
A real plus is located in the basement where a magnificent cinema awaits you for unforgettable sessions! Not to mention its sauna and gym.
The garden is shaded by a plane tree, a lime tree and a plane tree. The heated pool is sunny almost all day. It is secured by a flap.

Summary: We were really looking forward to staying as the property looked amazing from the pictures. We know the area well and have stayed in other properties around here. The pictures are very flattering - the garden was overgrown but in fairness when we raised this someone came midweek to cut the very long grass - leaves are everywhere and plants were dead and hadn’t been pruned. The house is tired and the kitchen wasn’t very clean. Bed linen wasn’t great and pillows were awful. The shower was broken in one bathroom and although we mentioned it it wasn’t fixed as promised. Outside the views are wonderful however and location amazing. The house manager wouldn’t meet us as we were in bad traffic and we couldn’t get there till 20.00 so key was left outside - there was nothing left such as milk which has always been the case with other properties and as it was late this was a problem for us to buy anything. Security was poor as a number of the doors wouldn’t lock and could only be secured using the outside shutters. Overall the house was very disappointing and needs some attention.

Summary: We came to Roussillon to enjoy a family holiday and had a fantastic time. Well situated close to the centre of the village, the villa is the perfect place to unwind with its tranquility and beautiful views. The cinema room was a really great touch and allowed us to unwind in the evenings with a film. The owner and manager were always contactable and helpful.
