Apartment of 100 sqm on the fourth floor of an old building with high ceilings and with lift located at the Rossetti theater and avenue XX September one of the most characteristic and renowned sites of Trieste. It is a very long and tree-lined avenue already frequented in the 1800s for Sunday walks by the Triestines, then became the site of theaters and cinemas, ice cream parlors, restaurants and outdoor bars. A place always alive and pleasurable in all seasons with the shade of the trees in the summer as well as with the bare trees and melancholy in winter.
After finishing the avenue you enter the Teresian quarter with its neoclassical buildings and you will arrive in about 15 minutes by foot to the sea and in the beautiful squares of Trieste, including the Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, the largest open square in Italy Directly on the sea.

Summary: We enjoyed our time in Trieste and in this aparment. It das a lot of space and it was easy to cook, relax, and spend time at home. The aparment is a bit dated but is has conveniences such as a washer and dishwasher. Our host was very responsive when needed.

Summary: The apartment is spacious, clean, and conveniently located near downtown. It is also very close to the bus line. Luigi is a great host! Very communicative and helpful. He even provided me bus tickets since we arrived on Sunday (when many shops are closed), and I needed to get to a conference the next morning. He also let us store our bags at the apartment after checkout because we had a late departure. Highly recommended!

Summary: This apartment is easy walking to the main areas of Trieste. The area had a lovely boulevard with lots of eateries and a supermarket. We did the excursion to Slovenia caves and can recommend this. The bus stop is close to take you to Miramar castle, definitely worth a visit. Inside the apartment is quiet, clean and comfortable and our host was very helpful.

Summary: Absolutely as described. High ceilings. Elegant. Comfortable. Great kitchen. Easy transport connections. We occasionally used a bus but did most things on foot. Wide choice of bars and restaurants nearby but the flat itself is peaceful. Highly recommend

Summary: The apartment was lovely, quiet, and very clean, and Luigi was there to meet us. The location is excellent: super close to the pedestrian street (Via XX Settembre) with its bars, restaurants, and shops. There is a lot of space and an elevator, which was greatly appreciated because a member of the group was unexpectedly using a wheelchair. Very good communication.

Summary: luigi's home is not located in the tourist center (usually considered by the piazza unita d'italia.) and thank goodness for that. via venti settempre is the reason i booked this home for two weeks and everything turned out exactly what i read about. the home is traditional (aka not designed or equipped with modern amenities) but it has two spacious bedrooms. what i really appreciate is all the "little" things luigi put in place to make it more comfortable for guests such as power strips (so you do not have to struggle with not having enough outlet for all the electronics we have in 2019), shelving and benches in the hallway (for putting things down), extra towels (so you do not have to debate between washing your towels and having to wait for them dry over a day as there is no drier in the house); there were also tea, olive oil, toilet paper, tissue, salt and pepper and all the cleaning supplies so we did not have to buy everything we needed for the two week stay. the location was so good we practically could walk everywhere. we were on our first house hunting trip in trieste, and thank to this apartment's location, we have decided this neighborhood will be our #1 choice to buy an apartment in trieste. the only wish i have is more lights in the kitcheb as it is really too dark to do proper prep and cooking with only one light, and maybe a couple of more quilts as it did get chilly at night in october (but the big down comforter is just too thick.)
